Once I switched to full condition damage, and learned to mix up my kiting, dodging with things such as teleports, thief became very fun. There is alot of functionality in thief abilities that is not immediately apparent.

Lots of fun taking on 3+ mobs via tactics, as opposed to the burst formula.

Once you cross 30 things are alot better. I have my thief set to a condition build and I spec alot of bleeds. No problem taking out 3-4 equal level mobs if I plan it right. Have managed mobs 6+ levels above me as well, although it does require a CD dump to ensure your survival.

Glass cannon builds are boring in PvE, as all you are doing is waiting for CDs to pop.
