Indeed, look at how Anet is forcing junk upon the game lately, now even halloween mini’s from last year are on sale, while it’s almost halloween again. And the description still says limited edition, how can it be that it’s for sale again! Cheap way of pushing gem sales and at the same time a middle finger to those who bought last year thinking they’d be carrying around something special. What’s next, gems used in crafting of uber ascended items?

Also, people get to choose which stat is used on travelers items, yet I get knocked aside with my Noble armor from Caudecus which I worked really hard for. I have no need for condition damage with my build. Now I gotta do it without that lovely Krytan drakehound.

Shame on you Arenanet!

And what about the Ancient Karka Shell, that thing cost me 1000 karka shells!

The Exotic version of the Invaders Ring has been nerfed, now it´s even weaker than the Rare version you buy with Karma. Why kill 354 enemies for an Exotic version when the Rare version is only 5 daily´s away? It´s ridiculous, besides the fact that it´s weak for a ring, it´s not an accessory! Now combine this with the Ascended rings from fractals and it´s a huge middle finger towards WvW players. Please do something about this. And no this does not mean I want you to nerf the Karma version as well.

Not true, when Great Brittain announced it would sell tons of its gold in the early 2000’s, the price went down massively, and the Brittish people were defrauded of much wealth! That was a “sale” and “a slap in the face”!

Yes, people “play” this game, but that makes it ok to devalue their efforts?

Thing is, the last few times the market got very volatile when new items were implemented into the gem market, as far as I can see Arenanet did put a market cap on the exchange, you can see it right now, it’s nearly horizontal, which is not normal. There’s only booms and glooms in this market, no dooms. Hmm…

When I started to play it was between 1.50g-1.70g for 100 gems, but I’ve read about it being a bunch of silver for 100 gems, it’s an inflation process thats been going on since the beginning of GW2. And seeing how the real economy is going down, people buying less gems with dollars, even more dollars when inflation in the real world kicks in, the price of Gems will only go up harder in the future.

Your gold in this game is not like the gold in real life, in here it’s not money, but a currency. Currencies die over time, Money stays, and in this game the Gems are money.

This won’t affect low level stuff as there is so much of it, but things like ecto’s and orichalcum ore are bound to go up in the long run as well. At least, that’s my guess.
