Huray! Just got a response to my ticket and account is no longer banned
A long wait is finally over, thanks!
In todays game status update I can read the following:
“Our customer support team is prioritizing hacked accounts and other blocking login issues over other types of support requests. We’re currently responding to prioritized support tickets within 48 hours, and will soon be responding within 24 hours.”
Tomorrow morning my account has been permanently banned for a week and still I have got no response to my ticket 120905-006226.
Please, please help

Couldn’t agree more, have had no response to my ticket 120905-004096.
I have bought a broken product and am disappionted.
If the level of service at my work was anywhere close to the level of ANet we would be out of business quite fast.
Im on page 5 and still nothing, prepare to wait

Hello, there are now three sticky threads with players posting their unresolved tickets and I am curious to which one ANet are looking in to first…
“Account Hacked? Permanently Banned? Post here!” or “Players Awaiting Help” or “Info on Old/Unresolved Tickets”?
My ticket is 120905-004096 and I have posted in “Players Awaiting Help” but still I have read here in forums about players with tickes that are made after this date that have been resolved already.
For me its past 72 hours and it seems the weekend I was hoping to spend in game now is a weekend browsing these sad threads from players waiting for help.

I have never got such a message after sending my ticket, only response I got was an automated one sent to me verifying that they had received my ticket and it said
“Thanks for contacting Guild Wars 2 Support. Someone will be reviewing your ticket shortly. If you would like to add to or update your support ticket, please reply to this message or update your incident by clicking the link below. We appreciate your patience and will reply shortly.”
It has now been almost 72 hours

I must admit that this is starting to make me really sad…
Not only the fact that I actually am permanently banned, which is bad on its own but also the fact that there is no real information from ANet on whats going on.
All we know is that many have been hacked, and that they say it will take no more than 72 hours to get the account back. But still so many posts here are made by people waiting for a week or more, its just not acceptable.

You are not the only one, I have the exact same message
If this is true, that you are resolving tickets within 72 hours you have until tomorrow morning to resolve mine.
Highly doubt this will happen since others have been waiting for over a week…
Must say I am very disappointed in the way this is being taken care off, I have not even been given any reason to why my account has been banned and in all honesty I dont see any reason for it. I have never spoken to anyone in the chat and there are actually no indications that I was hacked either.

Please let us who are wating for a response to our tickets out of the dark, how long is this going to take, what has happened and what is being done?
The automatic repsonse I got to my ticket said that you will reply shortly, how long time is shortly?
I was banned for no obvuois reason at all and have been given no explanation
“This account has been permanently banned for a violation of the user agreement and/or rules of conduct.”
Have no idea what part of this has been violated, could be anything…but I highly doubt I have done anything wrong since all I have been doing is questing whit friends, not talking in chat at all.
I have not received any e-mail from ArenaNet saying I have been hacked or anything like that, can’t see any strang activity in My account – Security.
I can still log on to post on the forum and to see “My account” (same account details as always).
I did however have money vanishing from my inventory 2 days in a row prior to being banned, which I made a ingame ticket about.

What exactly is the given timeframe? I was banned this morning, no reason as far as I can see. Am I in the right timeframe?

Dear ArenaNet,
There are many of us that have had our accounts banned for no obvious reasons and I understand that investigating this will take you some time.
However, it would be very much appreciated If there was some kind of post on what has happened with these accounts and how the work on fixing it is proceeding.
Having some kind of knowledge about whats going on would ease at least my mind a bit. As it is now I’m checking my e-mail so often its not even funny to see if there has been any respose to my ticket.
Think you can provide us with some info?
Here’s my story.
This morning I logged on to the game, and got the message: “A server error has been encountered. Please wait a moment and try again.” I did this and could then log on fine. I was running around doing hearts, exploring, trying to find waypoints, POI and vistas. If I remember right I didn’t talk to anyone, and if I did the only thing I would have typed was “thanks” to someone who resurrected me upon death.
All of a sudden, after maybe 20 minutes of game play, had just been in an underwater cave picking up a POI and was on my way out, I was kicked out with the message: “Account blocked due to unacceptable behavior. Please try again after this block has expired”
After this I try to log back on and I get the message: “This account has been permanently banned for violation of the user agreement”
I have not typed anything offensive or racist in the chat, not spammed.
I don’t have a name that is offensive
I have not given out any of my account information to anyone
I have not visited any gold-selling sites
I have not received any e-mail from ArenaNet saying my account has been hacked.
I really can’t see any reason for my account being permanently banned, I have actually done nothing wrong.
All I want to do is log on and enjoy this great game!

Same thing happened to me a few hours ago
This has happened to me as well, for two days in a row I have looged on to find that my currency was missing. Today when I logged on the currency I made yesterday was still there, which I was happy about.
My happiness didn’t last long tho, after palying for maybe 20 mins i was kicked out of the game getting a message that my account was blocked due to unacceptable behaviour and that I should try logging on again after the block had expired.
I immediately tried logging on again and got the message that my account was permanently banned for violation of the user agreement….
At the time I was kicked I was just running around exploring things, had not talked to anyone, just minding my own.
