Guild Wars 2

I’d managed to accumulate a fair amount of in-game gold and was going to buy some gems with it for skins…until I see that I’d have to buy 800 gems and the items cost 700. I don’t want/need to have leftovers and will just keep accumulating gold for now.

I’ve spent 2 hours tonight trying to work on these two events…and so far have found nothing. I’ve got the piece of equipment needed for Secret contact and have gone to half the spots and nothing. As for the snow/dirt covered objects: I’ve found one randomly weeks ago.

Are these still active or am I wasting my time on them?

I got 1 pirate rune as a drop and it’s in my inventory. It seems like the drop rates for materials isn’t what it used to be so I figured this would give me a boost.

Thanks for the offer but I went grinding and got enough for my crafting.

Since I’ve leveled my leatherwork skill to 400 I’m thinking of making a set of armor that focuses on magic find; mostly this would be for events/zergs in some areas. I haven’t bought any of the recipes from the vendor yet and would appreciate any input on which ones I’ll need to get. I’ve been stockpiling mats so hopefully my TP cost will be minimal on the stuff I can’t make myself.

Tried the Queensdale bandits…killed 100 of them and not one chocolate bar. Going to try the dredge in Lornar Pass to see if I can get some there. I’m feeling like it’s become a super rare drop lately.

Thanks for the info. I was grinding centaurs in Harathi Hinterlands and no chocolate but a bit of other stuff…I’ll try Queensdale since it’s sort of fun to rampage through there with a high level character.

I’m working on cooking and have been looking for chocolate bars…there’s no way I’m paying the over-inflated prices on the TP but don’t know where/which mobs to grind for them. Any help would be appriciated.
