@Melanie switch to super sampling and try that other wise use a driver you know works. 296.4 is a very stable
And I hear what you are saying Melanis because my first example of this was the side of a mountain disappearing in shiverpeak
If when using 306.02 beta Nvidia driver your getting objects disappearing or artifacting , open the Nvidia control panel.
Select manage 3d settings.
From here you can create a custom graphics setup specific to the application you want to run. With the current beta driver 306.02 there is a known issue with ambient occlusion. Within the 3d options disable ambient occlusion and relaunch the game client.
I have tested this on several different benchmarks and so far without fail.
Confirm in game that you are using native render sampling. When not making this change I have been able to have it work with supersampling but only do that if your system can handle it as it will cut your fps in half in some instances.
Hope this helps
It is never to late to start crafting.
You can always go back and visit other new player zones to see a new expirence on the game as well as collect gathering materials. The xp will be lower but it will be level specific to the area, reducing your game level to match the level of the area you are in.
One of the very cool features in the game is the ability it has to save your progress in crafting even after you may have dropped a crafting profession. For example if I get to 125 Weaponsmithing and want to drop it for Taloring I can. Then later on 20 levels from now, (or when ever you want) you can go back and pick up Weaponsmithing again and it will start you at 125.
This is really annoying, as there’s no easy way to report them from the mail interface. “/report” doesn’t seem to work, so I’ve had to send the spammer a whisper in order to make their name appear in chat – then I can right-click it and report.
I would not even go that far to start a line of communication with them.
Make note of the name that sent out the email and open a ticket. Make sure the ticket is selected for “scamming” and notate the details of the email as best as possible.
You will most likely NOT recieve a reply about the status of the ticket as alot of these are going thru. The point is to have that person or persons reported so that corrective action can be taken. The only thing as users that we can do is continue to report them.
The kicker is that it should NOT change the font for the text for other menu items. It should simply resize the hotbars, mini map, and chat windows imo. I think the other windows are all resizabel on their own, I dont remember the TP being resizable thou.
similarly, I’ve got my UI set to large (2560×1440) and the trading post text is all horribly pixelated
I guess the normal ui is the only one that will work for us until some new fixes are made.
I also am having this issue since launch. I was using the 296 Nvidia driver and moved to using the 306.02 beta drivers. In both instances while using the “Small UI” option the text is highly pixelated and fragmented. The only fix to this that i have seen is using the regular size ui. (not at home to say exact setting name sorry )
It is very possible that it is a resolution setting and or compatability issue with that size of ui with the resolution. I am currently using 2560 × 1440
