Same thing happened to me yesterday. It’s not a thing I thought I should have to worry about, but it apparently it is. It’s not like I was just carelessly mashing buttons, I was just right clicking gear and selecting preview. Then I saw the karma price in red and knew something just went wrong.
They either have to offer a confirmation for making large purchases, or offer a method to refund items that you just purchased.
Fortunately, I was “lucky” enough to get a piece I could use, but that doesn’t make me any less miffed about it.
This is a must. The game automatically purchased one of those god armors (the 42k ones) without my consent. Needless to say I’m pretty mad about that. I should have been able to sell it back immediately, but instead I am forced to wear it as a reminder of poor design choice.
