Guild Wars 2

Sure, this game has some problems, but these problems are being worked on and I am looking forward to playing this game for a long time to come. After playing other MMOs for thousands upon thousands of hours I can easily say that I love what aNet did with Guild Wars 2 and that WvW is the best thing that’s ever happened

An exponential increase of points/tick for towers, keeps and camps. A tower might start at 2 points per tick and then go up to 10 points per tick over the span of 2 hours. This combined with an increased health for doors/walls, a “only-siege damages walls/doors” and removing the AoE cap for siege completely would offer a more defensive gameplay compared to the “zerg” mentality of today.

I’m unable to play the game until I get back home on sunday 9pm EST. Afaik there will be no achievements linked to the one-time-only event that takes place on the 28th, but will I be able to take part and complete all the achievements linked to act 2? As an achievement hunter I would be sad to miss the halloween meta achievement because of something as trivial as this…

This is because of the fixed invisibility afaik. Since everyone complained about enemies, mobs and NPCs being invisible aNet fixed that with the Oct 11th patch. The downside to this is that the game requires a lot more data transfer than earlier making your game… slower. This is now probably only a computer problem and not the servers.

So far I enjoy fighting against Darkhaven and Ehmry bay, but hey, it is NOT cool to use mesmer portals the way you on Ehmry Bay are using them. We are all aware that the mesmer portal skill is most likely not supposed to be used as it is now. It really tickles my nerves when I see a 50+ zerg from Ehmry popping up inside the inner gates of Garrison and insta-zerg the lords room. Where’s the honour in doing that? I’d be sad to see this happen again and I hope most of you won’t take part in such game breaking behaviour.

Apart from that I enjoy the match-up and I hope to see Darkhaven and Ehmry put up some competition!
