You have undoubtedly put time and energy into the PvP community. The fact you were not given a unique place as a shoutcaster is a drastic oversight on Anet’s behalf. I fully support the idea of your being there as a shoutcaster. I’m surprised Grouch and co. didn’t make that a reality.
I do not comprehend, not do I support the prospect of you taking up a place on the “All-Star” team. Firstly, that is a spot quite a few other players rightfully deserve. Secondly, you will be a handicap for those NA players. No wonder some of the EU candidates are encouraging voters to vote for you.
Ultimately, the structure of this selection process is looking to eventuate as some kind of popularity contest rather than a true reflection of the “stars” skill-wise.

We now have the small amount of numbers we needed in non-NA timezones. To those who considered Blackgate, thank you. We look forward to a competitive Season and a close match-up between all Tier 1 Servers.
I encourage any Oceanic guild leader looking at this thread to seriously consider the move. You’ll be the only Oceanic WvW guild here, which would help our Oceanic PvX guild NOC out a lot. It will also alleviate a lot of NA commanders running overtime in order to give a good handoff to our SEA, who carry it onto EU and NA the next day.
Despite what the trolls are saying in this thread, our Oceanic presence right now is similar to a T3 server at best and is heavily reliant on NA and SEA guilds to play overtime to cover it. You can help change that. There will be plenty of fights against guilds like XPK, SoX, GC, HIRE, MERC etc. and plenty of challenges, with plenty of support from the rest of Beastgate.
Rev is speaking the truth. We seriously need help during the off hours. We are strong throughout most of the day but when NA goes to bed we bleed PPT and lose all upgrades that we have built up. We genuinely need your help.

KnT’s small Oceanic division is led by Roger aka Alexa Lightbringer. He graduated at the end of last year and he’s now pulling absurd hours working as a doctor. To the best of my knowledge the majority of those ocx/sea players have remained in KnT, so yes, they’re there. Are they running regularly as an oceanic force led by their commander? No. Incidentally, KnT could now be classed as PvX.
Edit: Roger just told me that they have 10-15 oceanics running 2-3 times a week under commanders in training. There, full transparency from a BG leader-type-person.

Recruitment Information
As a member of APeX, you can expect:
Highly coordinated group play with a core of 20-30 members on the field.
Consistent daily raids at 6pm server time.
Frequent trainings, both individual and team, to help you build your individual skill set and develop a cohesion within the group.
To be part of a well balanced and open-minded team where everyone has a voice.
Full transparency. Members will be aware of things that are happening within the guild.
A leadership team with experience in leading large and influential guilds since the launch of GW2.
Very knowledgeable and skilled commanders. These individuals have extensive experience with leading and being a member of highly skilled guilds in GW2.
As a member of APeX, we expect:
100% rep during raid times.
An age of 18+.
Frequent, if not daily, attendance (this will be determined on a case by case basis, but individuals who do not attend frequently do not fit with what we are trying to accomplish, and will be removed from the guild).
A high level of maturity and respect for others. Flagrant intolerance will in turn be met by flagrant intolerance.
An openness to direction in terms of play, builds, etc.
Absolutely no kittening. Complaints are just veiled excuses for poor play and will not be tolerated. We will take any loss or handicaps with dignity and never slander our opponents because of them.
Full communication during raids. APeX requires the use of TeamSpeak to communicate with each other. Communication on the field is highly imperative.

I’m looking forward to the changes—should make things interesting, theoretically. I doubt there will be a drastic difference in the matchups we see from a BG perspective though.
