Guild Wars 2

Hi,

Tokyo-based player looking to join a friendly, closely-knit guild. I main an elementalist, though I sometimes I play my engineer, and usually hop on during early mornings PST or late evenings PST.

WvW is my main reason for playing the game, so when it starts feeling stale or if real-life engagements start to catch up with me I may go inactive for random periods of time, but will usually find myself back in the game one way or another. I’m currently spending way more time PvE’ing lately though, if that means anything.

I speak English and Japanese, and am open to joining guilds active in the NA, Asian or Oceanic time zones. I value getting to know people and doing things together more than roster number, events, or prestige, etc.

Please, make some sort of change to this skill —maybe not to the degree of its old 15s CD + bugged 1500+ range, but something better than this stupid-long 45-second CD. I miss traversing the PvE landscape with lightning; it’s just not as fun and/or cool now.

JQBL SW camp, ~1:30am PST to ~1:45am PST, super long battle for the camp. Hats off to [AFS] of SoR, and the JQ crew who decided to drop by after.

We basically needed a merchant for that madness to sell all the loot we picked up while fighting — at the same time:

Fighting IoJ and SoR these past couple of weeks has been really challenging. You guys owe it to ourselves. Putting all the trash talking and trolling aside, you guys know how to fight hard.

Posting again about ticket 121122-000273.

It’s been past two weeks and not a single response. We already know what the response will probably be, but an actual response and a reasonable conclusion will be much appreciated!

Hi there, I’m posting on behalf of my roommate with ticket number 121122-000273.

I gave him a trial key to try out the game during the Lost Shores event, he bought the game on Sunday direct from ArenaNet, and sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday his account was suspended on fraudulent grounds or something like that. He noticed there was a charge for the game on his bank statement that was pending, but apparently never went through and just disappeared after he found out his account was suspended.

He got a generic email saying it was bumped up in priority, but basically nothing else for these past four days.

He’s not trying to commit anything fraudulent; we’re sure it’s just a simple mistake. To the best of his knowledge he has the funds to purchase the game, so we’re not sure why there was a pending charge that just disappeared. He did not authorize any sort of charge-back; it disappeared on its own accord. We just want to play the game together.

Thanks for looking into this and I hope for a favorable resolution to the issue. He’s put a lot of time into the game already and it’s kind of a bummer to successfully convince him to buy the game, only to be met with a suspension the day after.
