I just was able to knock that kitten guard down, it seems like the latest patch fixed it for me.
I was scared, the first time I restarted the game I still had the problem, but then there was another build released just a few minutes afterwards and this time was the charm.
FINALLY.
I guess I should say thank you Anet ?

Edit: I have yet to confirm that the bug on episode 8 was fixed as well, but it would be surprising if not.

I understand that finding the root cause of the bug can be complicated, but can we please get a hotfix for this and the Mysterious Wall bug at least in the meantime ?
This is extremely frustrating…

I am also having this problem, as well as the other interaction problem in Episode 7, the seeds of truth, where you can’t interact with the guard that you need to knock out.

I’m really hoping that these issues get solved quickly because this is very frustrating as I would like to finish the Living World story before I start Heart of Thorns…
