So you’re essentially saying “Guard” should be the ranger protecting himself? If you Heal As One while melded with your pet, would you get 2 heals essentially since it effects both you and your pet and you should get your pet’s buffs as well?
This design from your perspective doesn’t make much sense. Shouts were redesigned for the pet to assist the ranger way before Soulbeast was even introduced. They are 2 entirely different concepts from the elite spec to the shout implementation.
You would need to redesign how shouts would work were you to have them work the way they are while melded because some of them simply make no sense.
They need to add a Beastmode effect, yes.
No-Beastmode = base effect.
Beastmode = new effect.
Yes, that takes time but guess what ? That’s kind of their job, if they introduced something and kitten it, well that’s on them.
Is there another profession that have some of their skills do nothing ?
The maul proc is not intended, it’s obvious, and in light of that it will get nerfed.
The sic’em working on us in Soulbeast is not intended either obviously, this is a pet only buff and since it has already been asked numerous times from people asking devs if that is working as intended, there was no response.
Thing is, every traits and skills (skills more than traits) need to do something in Beastmode, if not it means they failed the Spec. If going into Beastmode cuts you from 1/5 of Traits and Skills that’s not good design, everything needs to work even if they have to make some other effects.

Soulbeast elite spec as Stances on par with core Warrior…but when you see what Weaver got even without counting Stances…smh.
Vulture Stance does work, striking a golem got might above 50% and poison applied under 50%.
Also is it normal that the icons for Dagger#1 third and fourth AA are the same ? Feels weird on top of the clunkyness of the weapon.
Has anyone tested if Oppressive Superiority is by % or by raw numbers? I would if I was able to log in but can’t.

Well, that was to be expected since when you enter the water your set of 2 pet changes.
GS 2 Maul. Can be used to buff personal damage in beastmode. However seems to be bugged at the moment. I can easily apply it OUT of combat (prebuffing with it) but in combat does not seem to trigger AOO. Strangely enough I was getting AOO off of hilt bash. May possibly be using pre gs reword code?
Edit: Unless..is it consuming the AOO ON THE MAUL?! Cause if so thats AMAZING

I noticed that if I’m in combat but I don’t hit anything with Maul, I get AoO but if Maul hits then no AoO so either Maul consumes AoO and it’s intentional or it’s a bug. (Like the buff applies before the damage but it doesn’t have time to show up and is consumed.)
I started the game from scratch yesterday , I’m at lvl 8 at the moment but I don’t have any issues like the one in the vids, I’ll report back at lvl 11 after testing F2, but maybe it’s tied to changes they did to some traits ?
So what you’re saying is… it only effects old characters lol?
I’m saying that maybe it’s tied to one trait in particuliar, without the trait there is no problem but with it the bug happens. To find this trait though…
Edit : Could even be a combination of traits. So it could be hard to pinpoint the exact source of the problem.
