Geezer Guild is now in it’s 11th year and still going strong! We are open to players 30 and older though our membership trends in the 40’s and 50’s (many were 30-somethings when they joined back in GW1). We are a guild based in the US that is most active following EST and CST.
I believe the secret to our longevity has been our very casual and relaxed environment. We dabble in every aspect of the game. We aren’t rigidly structured and tend to roll with whatever moves us from day to day. We do mostly PvE guild missions fairly regularly to upgrade our guild hall since HoT dropped. We have experts in every aspect of the game that can help newer players with whatever they may be interested in doing. Or, if you like to roll solo most of the time, but, like the benefits of guild membership we have those kinds of players too.

We have a Ventrilo server should you like to join us there (not required). We are a casual PVE based guild that doesn’t “plan events” but goes with whatever moves us from day to day. Recently that has been dungeon runs, world events, Tequatl, temples, custom PvP arena, about a dozen members running WVW on weekend nights and helping other guild members that are new to this game. We will be getting more into Fractals here soon once the new Fractal changes are in place.

Our busiest times follow US EST and CST’s but there are players on 24/7 as we have players from all over the world and more than a few in PST zone.

All we ask for is respect for other members, represent fairly if in multiple guilds and to keep chats and Ventrilo PG-13. Did I say casual? Can’t state that enough. The secret to our success has been our casual nature and our 30 day policy. Players that do not log into their account for more than 30 days are dropped from the roster. A PM is sent to them allowing them to rejoin us if they should return to the game. I am always recruiting to replace inactives keeping the membership active. Many, many members have been here for 6, 7, 8, years and longer.

Drama free! I don’t suffer fools (not to be confused with foolishness, which I’m all for). Elitist snobs, boat rockers and all other forms of malcontents are quickly tossed over the rail. Zero tolerance.

Who isn’t used to everything clipping already? I’d still go for it

Not much love for the beards. When I see new hairstyle updates I always look in hopes of finding new longer beards. Would love to see some long beards, from chest length to belt length added to the hairstyle options. Think of all the $$ you’d make. I’m willing to bet a lot of players would pony up for some custom beards.

Greetings from all of us here at Geezer! We have been a large PVE guild (200+ active members) for many years comprised entirely of players 30 years old and older. We are now looking to branch into WvW. We currently have about a dozen members that WvW and EOTM pretty regular that would like more company

What we are looking for:

Players that want to have FUN.
Players that can enjoy a casual, relaxed atmosphere
Players that can manage to keep Ventrilo and guild chat PG-13
Players that can maintain their membership status by not letting their last log date exceed 30 days
100% rep is NOT required but we do ask that you represent fairly
We prefer players that are able to join us on Ventrilo

What we don’t want:

Elitist snobs, malcontents or personal drama. These kinds of players are quickly tossed over the rail.

What we are:

We have been a very successful guild for many years in the PVE world because of our members that abide by the reasonable requirements of membership. Many have been in [GZR] for 6, 7 and 8+ years. If you’re our kind of people it’s a great place to be! We don’t schedule events more than we tend to go with whatever moves us from day to day. Our membership activity trends towards EST US though we do have members from all over the world. As a result we have decent numbers 24/7. I’m hoping to add 100 new members for WvW.

The Geezer Guild is open to players 30 and older! We have been a GW guild since 2005 with many players having 5+ years of membership. Casual relaxed atmosphere where we do everything but PvP. There are no requirements for participation, all we ask is that you be respectful of other members, be helpful when you can and have fun. All skill/experience levels are welcome.

Hello! I am The Knight Of Nee, founder of The Geezer Guild. We got started in December, 2005, in GW1 and have been rolling strong ever since. We are a casual guild that kinda just goes with the flow. Our membership covers the spectrum of experience and skill. As a guild we don’t specialize in any particular aspects of the game. We dabble in everything but PvP. We do have among our members experts in WvW, Fracs and Dungeons if these are aspects you are interested in learning. We also have many members that tend to run amok solo but also like belonging to a group of their peers. We have a strong core of members that have been in this guild 6 and 7 years plus. We are friendly, respectful and patient with one another and expect the same from anyone that joins.

- Ventrilo (most of us use Vent, so guild chat panel is usually pretty quiet)

- We group frequently for Living Story and world boss events (minus Teq)

- We also form up Champ Trains and high end node farming runs for the farming types
