Guild Wars 2

I think Guild Wars 2 was the game i could play for years yet now i fear if it will survive March. They haven’t released any new permanent content thanks to the living story. There’s no new maps besides Southsun and no new worlds. They still havent made PvP more interesting and WvW has gone stale. The problem that is plaguing this game is its lack of content and the speed at which new content is delivered. To quote killcannon the only reason i still play gw2 is its potential.
Thats what GW2 is a potential game.

Hopefully with the new year comes new content. I would love to buy an exspansion for this game

Another thought ive been discussing with my guildies is that they released this game on the basis of the dragons. But the only dragon we’ve actually fought and killed is Zhaitan. We still have at least 4 other dragons to fight yet they are pulling our view away from them through living story.

I understand that but releasing new content in the game will allow them to make more money by drawing in new players and getting the old ones to spend more money on it.

What they should do is make it a requirement that you have to complete your personal story then you can buy a race changer. Problem solved and they make money.

I don’t mean to step on anyone’s toes but if ANet doesn’t release new permanent content soon I’m not sure it’s going to survive 2014. They have such great opportunities for new content that they are neglecting with the current living story. They have large amounts of Tyria’s map still closed as well as all of Cantha and Elona. For those of you who know what those are it would make a beautiful expansion. People are bored with content that goes away after two weeks especially the qq that is Scarlet. New lasting content will get people interested again and more people will come to the game. On that note though do not make another Southsun. Hope to see everyone’s opinion and maybe even a dev will look in and see new ideas.
