For those who can’t read dates properly:

That was a dev post made in regards to the patch update on the 17th September.

If you noticed, their patch notes for the 18th September specifically described fixing bugged skill points where NPCs would not reset to the correct position.

So unless they forgot to install this fix a second time, which is plain bad planning and there is no excuse for, then it is a case that the fix they implemented does not work and still leaving this skill point bugged on absolutely every server in existence.
(And just because one person in this thread wants to suck up and say “Oh but there’s other things to do y u so mad” the answer is because I want to complete this map that ANet has since made necessary for me to complete if I ever want my legendary weapon. Which I’m working towards.

Somehow, getting 100% map completion has become more frustrating and laborious than trying to farm the awful amounts of karma needed. That’s both impressive and terrible all in one.)

Airyll, Bill posted that response, on page 8, two days ago (His response was referring to the patch that was implemented on the 18th). Contrary to your claim, there is no reason to think that the bug fix doesn’t work, we just need to wait patiently until it is implemented; complaining won’t hasten anything. I’m in the same boat as you, I need only this skill point to complete Malchor’s, but I think your anger is a little much.

P.S. the irony in your post is hilarious.
