There are several different reasons why a new account may want to send gold to another account. In-game services (dungeon running, fractal running, WvW help are examples) is one. Gutting the entire trade system to stop the small % of accts that we consider to be gold-farmers? that’s a great way to treat the rest of the community!

So far the ticket has gotten me the wrong response so this is where I go next. I have dealt with an issue in the past and I was only successful once I brought attention to the forum. I do not wish to be treated like a child (the mailing system, not either of you who are responding to my post) because of a few gold farmers back in the beginning and during launch.

The ironic part is my friend has spent more USD on this game than I have through gems and character transfer. And they treat his account with added restrictions.

The policy is ludicrous as it only affects new accounts, who have less ability to gold farm than older accounts do. The policy does not affect MY account, so already it is unfair.

This policy does not stop the gold farming. And it does not stop a hacker or steals an account and mails away all of the money/items, UNLESS it is a new account (which means it would be less valuable most likely).

I’m not going to wait for an unspecified period of time for the gold back. Hopefully a GM will respond and fix this for us. There is no trade feature and the mail system is severely limited.

Isn’t this an MMO? I’m asking for my money BACK too so there is record of me sending it VERY RECENTLY.

I sent 60 gold to an ‘In-Real-Life’ friend’s account, not knowing he no longer needed it. My friend now cannot return the gold due to the security measures with the mailing system. He currently can only send 1 gold every 20 mins.

Is there a way for him to return my gold? Can his restrictions be lifted temporarily? This is a bit ridiculous and both of us do not appreciate being treated this way after having spent our money on this game.

I have made a ticket but the only response I received had to do with hacked accounts and seemed pretty automated. Is there anyone who can help me fix this problem? I do not plan on making the 60 gold over again.

I have been informed that my character name “Flubby Poo” is offensive and I must change it, and I have been suspended because of it. This is just advice for anyone who has the word or forms of the word poop in their name to fix it now so you do not lose any time in this game. It’s bad enough that I had to lose it I hope I can help others with this friendly warning. Good luck players and thank you A.Net for explaining what I had done wrong.

72 hour suspension, no valid explanation

So I have been suspended for 72 hours about half an hour ago. The reason being was for using foul languge…. I have not accessed this account in over a week, and typed in 2 phrases today, not swearing in any language at the least. I’d like to enjoy this game that I spent my $60 on. If I can’t, just refund my money so I can spend it somewhere else.
