It’s wild that this graphics bug only appears when attempting to move the camera with the mouse.

Figured a couple things out. First, I’ve been attempting to play on an LG 40UB8000 which is actually a TV. The problem appears to be the fact that the LG only supports 4k@60Hz when in 4:2:0 chroma.

This hasn’t ever been an issue for me in the past with other games, but GW2 plays fine (other then the delay) when at 4k@30Hz 4:4:4 chroma on the same TV. I don’t play competitive, and the LG has treated me well in the past.

I’ve scaled back to 1440p and will probably end up picking up a newer display in the future. Still would be cool if the Devs could fix it though!

Hi Folks,

Been searching for another post with my problem, can’t seem to find one.

When left or right clicking and holding to reposition the camera view, the screen goes a hazy green (I can still see the GW world) and my character disappears into the bottom right and the zoom goes far out. It’s quite wild. The game is unplayable because I can reposition the camera.

Note: This only happens when the game resolution is at 4k! Both 1440p/1080 all is well. I’ve only recently come back to the game, so this might not be new

Troubleshooting I’ve tried:
1. Reset Graphics levels – tried all low – doesn’t make a difference
2. Tried different resolution – This works, but I want to play at 4k!
3. Updated drivers – no change
4. Reset user controls – ?
5. Updated mouse driver using Razer utility
6. Tried different desktops
7. Tried different monitors

Hardware – I’ve tried this on two machines using latest Nvidia Drivers, one was using a 960 and the other a 1080. I also tried 2 4k monitors a Samsung and an LG. I was very convinced it was hardware related, but I used two different computers and displays, different mice (both Razer).
