The Beta wasn’t even good. The game is like 3 years old in the midst of newer more immersive games, which are are practically at decent prices. The expansions costing like 50 bucks? seems overly pricey for a failed impression on beta. Hell steam is running mega deals I rather spend 50 bucks there get better gaming experience.

Honestly and sadly there are greater F2P games that have way better updates and expansions by a landslide compared to this game, even their pre orders make sense. I am glad I bought this game on sale.

Perfect example of ArenaNet’s dishonesty.

So, ArenaNet expects people to:

• Pay FULL price right now (it’s not even a pre-order, they’re calling it a pre-purchase)

• For a product we have NO IDEA when we will receive, since they have not given us even a release window, much less a release date

• Asking an ABSURD price for what is basically Living World Season 3 plus a few new skills.

• No new character slot, despite how the expansion comes with a new profession thus of course a lot of players will want to make a new character.

• AND, new players get the full game plus the expansion, while veterans, those who actually funded the expansion, get to pay the same price for less than half the same content.

This is pathetic. I knew ArenaNet was hurting for money, but this is way too much.

With the Summer Sale that is happening right now, you’ll find lots of games to keep you busy until this so-called expansion gets slashed to a decent price.

And to those of you who are buying HoT right now, all I have to say is: “a fool and his money…”

Cause they spent too much time on establishing their other servers to actually develop worth while content.

Its a Joke. 50$ the beta wasnt all that great. Price range is worthy at most of 30$. It doesnt seem like no real expansion, just a bunch of nothings. Shouldn’t have spent to much time on your chinas servers.

Shouldn’t cost too much period, considering it took 2 to 3 years before expansion. Other games non-Subscriptions and F2P usually expand on new content alot faster. Just saying.
