I thought DEs were actually supposed to effect the game?

Dynamic Events only really make their impact in the end game areas, where the entire zones are DE’s. I agree the game tried to sell them as being a bit more long term but the fact of the matter is they haven’t been made hard enough, the scaling isn’t quite at the ratio yet where the more people involved actually makes it challenging enough in comparison to a less populated event. Harathi Hinterlands was one of the more noticeably easy DE areas where even on a fairly low-pop server we effectively owned all centaur camps at all times and this actually made questing not only boring but very time consuming as there was almost no enemy presence on the map.

In contrast to dungeons, particularly Explore mode which can be punishing to the point of frustrating, I feel that nearly all Dynamic Events are too forgiving, and simply scale in size and time to complete rather than difficulty. Yes it’s super cool to fight off nearly 30-40 centaur while defending a supply bull, but when the NPC dies you simply revive them and carry on, make the challenge almost non-existent. There needs to be more consequence for failure so players are driven to work together rather than driven by XP boost.

That’s not supported by ANet so though it is technically possible to make your own modifications they wouldn’t implement the system themselves.

People shouldn’t need incentive to analyze boss fights and dungeon tactics, it’s all part of learning a game, whether it’s MMO or single player. Many players are finding dungeons difficult because they believe you can kick down the boss door and DPS your way to victory. That’s not ANet’s way of planning dungeons and it certainly shouldn’t be ours. In saying this the rarest tier dungeon sets are far too pricey to be even considered until people start getting bored of the game and are hungry for stat advantage, couldn’t these sets be at least a bit more achievable? Or at least make the lower tier dungeons sets not all look the exact same.

Title says it all, we need a system where tokens are converted into a currency like Karma so we don’t have to bog down our bank accounts with tokens. I’m aware this is probably going to be rolled out anyway as an idea that was thought of from the beginning but in all seriousness people WILL buy more bank space regardless of whether they have to store tokens, weapons, or whatever. Since I’ve seen so many people buy bank tabs for so many odd reasons, you will still generate money there ArenaNet so please, give us a token storage system.

I don’t think you realise how difficult such a system would be to implement and moderate. Without going into the technical limitations of such a system in a persistent MMO (where we would have to update constantly to see everyones custom textures) the fact that people would have the ability to draw obscene symbolism or implied nudity onto their characters means we’ll never see this implemented.
