Guild Wars 2

I have been away from the game for awhile but will soon be jumping back in. I always like a challenge when building a character so a necro for group PVE is really appealing to me. here is my attempt to bring some group support while not compromising too much on damage. axe warhorn for DS and dagger focus for out of DS. Can heal pretty consistently and still have decent damage. my main concern is the long cooldowns, the necro trait tree is a nightmare, I wish I could have either spectral or well skills on shorter cooldowns but I dont think I could without sacrificing dmg output.

I’m just getting back into GW2 after over a year of absence. I want to start up a new main and Im considering ranger. I like PVE and dungeons most of all (my first main was mes, then engi later on) so I want to know if GS survival w/spider is a viable build. I threw in frost spirit even though Im not traited for it because it seems pretty good dps boost even untraited. Dear OP

I will be getting back into GW2 after over a year absence and I want to start a new main, considering necro. I usually prefer hybrid power/support builds and was wondering if a deathshroud heal build would be viable in PVE or just not helpful enough. Here is my idea so far, may drop the wells for full spectral for LF generation to max my time in DS healing. Here’s a link

I’m going to make this as brief as I can but this is a hugely disappointing change. I was hoping to be a returning player after a year of absence but it seems ANET doesn’t want me to enjoy myself again.

I originally stopped playing last year when the game was patched and the system requirements increased and my computer could no longer run GW2. After spending the time and real world coin on 2 lvl 80s who I very much enjoyed playing I was kicked out by ANET. I supported this game through BETA and part of the reason I enjoyed the game was that it appealed to every MMO player and made strides to make the visually appealing game accessible to those with old and weak computers as well as the super gaming rigs.

Finally a year later I have the money to build a nice gaming rig and Im getting very excited to come back to GW2 with a fresh character, even planning to spend some cash to show ANET that I’m invested in this game even after being kicked out, but after reading what has happened to the trait system I don’t know if I’ll be returning. Initially I thought “well those gems that I was going to use on random fun goodies in the gem store Ill just use to purchase the traits I want” then I realized that if I did that I would be rewarding ANET for changing the game in a way that ruins my fun. I LOVED the original trait system because I could play with different builds as I leveled and find exactly the right fit for me by the time I hit the 50-60 range.

Since I already own the game Ill at least give it a try but I refuse to spend money in the gem store until ANET starts making some positive changes that make me want to play the game again and support the company. However if what I read is accurate I think I will be moving on to greener pastures, guess I may buy WildStar after all. I had so much fun with my other characters I just hope ANET sees this overwhelmingly negative response to their update, however I feel most people will just buy traits with cash and ANET will be happy with the temporary monetary gain rather than the long term loyalty of founding players.

Just bought a few items with gems but they haven’t been delivered. The transactions show up in my recent history but I never received the mail, even after restarting the game.
I saw this mentioned a few times in the past week when I tried to search the forums for an answer but it was never resolved. I know there is some work being done on the transaction system according to the forum so Im not sure if that has something to do with it.

I don’t understand this, I thought this was the most fun of all the story mode dungeons, ran it three times. it was challenging but in the fun way, not the tedious way like TA

Didn’t see anything about this yet but I was wondering if there was a way to join sPvP games as a group? I really enoy the pvp but would like to play with my guildmates without being in a tournament
