I can’t play the game without it giving me a black screen all the time. My gameplay time varies from 5 minutes to 2 hours. I play, then a random black screen appears and a few seconds later my computer reboots itself. I found that someone got an answer at support to update to a beta version of a graphic card driver, so I did just that. I thought it helped me, but after a bit of playing (maybe like 5 hours) the crashes came back. And now they’re more frequent than ever. I monitored the heat and that’s not the case. I also saw the pinned thread about changing setting in NVIDIA control panel, but I double checked and it was already set the way it should be. Another thing is that I ran the game smoothly during beta weekends, it started happening around the launch.
My graphic card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
I also have the same problem than you , i can play GW2 for 5min-2hours , and then I got black screen and my computer just stop working, and I have to turn it off, I have update my drives.
When I login, I got a message that say "Hardware issues detected, and I’ve got "current Nvidia: 301.42 Nvidia " and “Recommended: 304.79 Beta Nvidia”, i’ve already got the nvidia website to install that version, and it says that is compatible with windows 7 and my graphic card Nvidia gforce gts 450, but i try to install says that is incompatible with my pc.
It probably isn’t because of hotmail either because me and my friend are using hotmail and i got the authentication link just fine
We have looked at this carefully, and we just don’t see an issue with this. Sometimes it’s your junk mail filter, spam filter, even your ISP or your virus protection.
Please check the Knowledge Base article here with instructions on how to get help. If you have submitted a ticket it will be answered as soon as possible.
Keep in mind the team can disable your authentication, but then you’re unprotected, so you need to think that one through and determine how best to proceed.

A friend of mine asked me to create a thread about this. Since Last Thursday when he tried to login to his account, the game sent a authentication link to his mail but he never got one. That problem still persists today and it’s been 2/3 days since he sent a support ticket to de-activate the email authentication. He’s a bit impatient and would like to know if there’s another way to solve this problem or if he needs to wait for the support team to respond.
