Why change dye from account to character only?

It is a very boring idea for long term play because once you’ve unlocked the palettes on your first character, it become a useless game feature forever.

There’s nearly 400 dyes, aren’t there? With some being more rare than others. I’m just curious how close anyone is to unlocking them all.

I am not playing nearly as much as a lot of people will be, my highest level character is level 69, but that character has every fine quality dye, more than half of the masterwork dye, and a reasonable number of the rare dyes (20ish).
I’m sure there are people who already have them all, and outside of the last few extremely expensive blacks and whites, I’ll have them all fairly soon myself.

After you sell the first item, and it comes up and you can click okay, are you clicking ‘okay’ ?
I find you can’t just move onto the next item until you click ok. You don’t need to close the TP down, just acknowledge the sale.

Was just about to post basically this exact thing.
There really should be a reporting option specifically for gold sellers, that also sets up a temp block. Saves us the players time, because you are always going to want both.

Gem prices with exchange

There’s no reason for intervention (and I’d hope they never do it).
The market is entirely self sustaining, and run by the playerbase. The price will vary based on what people are willing to pay, and has to balance out somewhere.

If the price goes up, so too will the amount of gold players can get for gems, which will entice some players to go buy gems to feed into the market (to earn gold for themselves).
This feeding will increase the supply of gems on the market, moving the prices down again.
This will go back and forward.

The prices the gems were initially was never going to be the balance point however. Noone was level 80 yet, people hadn’t worked out how to make gold yet. Noone HAD gold yet. No one having gold, combined with some initial gem purchases new players almost certainly did (I would think a reasonable number of people bought the game, then like, threw $20 at the store for some initial gems) will have left surplus gems on the market, and little gold to pay for them.

Higher level players have more gold now. I don’t imagine they will ever drop down to ~400 gems for 1 gold again (maybe around expansions? hard to say)
