Guild Wars 2

Sorry if this has been posted before did a quick search and didn’t see anything about it, but I just wanted to get this out there.

I play with Nvidia surround on 3 screens, the gliding endurance bar always shows on my right screen, not my middle screen like the rest of the UI, which is annoying, and led to multiple deaths because I forgot that the bar existed because it wasn’t in my main field of view. Minor problem, just wanted to throw it out there.

2 things that would be HUGE for me.

#1. Been mentioned a lot, but that because it’s probably the most important in terms of communication, an in-game voice chat. Either a chat specifically designed for Gw2, or allow access in-game to other popular voice chat programs (e.g. A button that launches TS in game so you don’t have to tab out or anything)

I’ve been running into this problem a lot recently. There is a group of my guild that usually run together and do things from events to wvw to dungeons. But theres often more than 5 of us (usually 6-8 on) and not being able to invite them all to a party is a real downer. Not only does it exclude some people from time to time, it prevents me from inviting new guildies to join in because there aren’t enough party slots.

Now, obviously we can group together outside of party, but it just doesn’t work out very well. Having the dots appearing on the mini-map is extremely convenient and makes it easy to find each other, and without it we quickly will lose the players not in our party. What would be nice is to maybe tweak the systems we have now, because I’m sure no one really wants another /chat to have to switch too.

There are couple of ways that I’ve thought that this could look like. Make everyone a part of a commander’s “squad” show up as dots on the mini-map. This would provide another function for the commander icon, and while it’s 100 gold, I would be willing to pay that if it meant being able to have everyone connected. Another option would be to allow a party of players to “follow” another party, essentially allowing for up to 10 people to be in the same group.

Let me know what you think about these problems and what you think should or shouldn’t be done to change it!

5. Have a good laugh because they could have killed my glass cannon butt but instead i weakened them with massive crits. =)
