Guild Wars 2

So, in light of events at the end of ‘Prisoners of the Dragon’, I have some thoughts on what we’ll see in the eventual expansion that brings us to the Far Shiverpeaks to fight Jormag.

Of course I could be way off-base, but it’s still early and this is simply my feelings on how it could go from here.

As the title says; I can get through the launcher okay, but the game crashes immediately when it starts. I tried repairing the file cache, running scans, and even performing a system restore. I’ve sent probably a dozen error reports already, but I’m unfortunately very impatient and persistent in this sort of situation. Anyone know how to fix it?

I just noticed how awesome that set is. Could we have that made available to us at some point? I would love to use it on my Norn Ranger.

Hello Guild Wars 2 community! PoET is a new guild founded by myself and Lisette.5192 on Ferguson’s Crossing, intended to be a branch of our old guild from Dream of Mirror Online. We don’t currently have any other members, so we’re more than accepting of anyone interested in joining.

Since we’re just starting out, we’re a more casual guild just focused on helping each other out and having a good time, but in the future I’d like to expand our reach into WvW and completing Guild Puzzles.

So far we’ve managed to scrape together enough influence to get started on unlocking Political upgrades and are working on a custom guild emblem. We haven’t yet decided how we’re going to allocate future upgrades, but are likely to focus on gathering bonuses.

There are a few guild rules dominated by common courtesy for the sake of maintaining peace and community:
-Don’t insult other ways of life: political, religious or otherwise; you’re free to have your own opinion, but don’t use it to hurt others.
-Keep adult language minimal, as not everybody likes perversion and swearing; the system doesn’t pick up all of it, and there may be younger members.
-Discuss personal issues privately. Namely problems with other members; talk it over with them or an Officer/Leader in Whisper.
-Do not beg for promotion; it will come in due time if you qualify, and repeatedly asking will only hinder your chances.
-Excess rude behavior, such as the above mentioned, as well as bullying and hacking, will result in a ban from the guild.

We have 4 ranks established: Initiate, Member, Officer, and Leader.
-Initiates are new recruits that are just getting used to the guild, and will quickly be made into Members if they get along and enjoy the atmosphere.
-Members will be made into Officers if they display a capacity for leadership by helping other members while maintaining a mature deposition.
