Amen. This really deserves a bump in my opinion.

At the very least it would be nice to not lose participation when following the recommendation of switching instance because the current one is dead.
It would be nice if it was possible to request a clean instance and ask for it not to be listed, but then you can invite players or taxi them in somehow. That way, listing the instances wouldn’t ruin the massive effort that GW2Community, for example, is putting in.

Generally, things like taxiing are workarounds and thereby a sign of flaws in the game’s design.

I think it would be nice if they were dismissible, so you can remove that particular notice when you’ve seen it. I usually just collapse them and forget about them. There are so many other things in the UI I’d rather be complaining about.
