okay I’m having random spikes how do I fix that?

Arenanet give people who are living in Australia etc. a decent way to connect of course you only care about your local player base and because this issue doesn’t effect you I can see why you don’t care but just as a suggestion if you want people to actually enjoy your game maybe improve our ability toe connect to a server with less than 300-500 ping. People who live in major cities over in Australia that play GW2 still experience ping of over 170 so please some how fix this issue.

I live in Australia and I am sick of experiencing bad latency no my internet connection isn’t bad it’s the fact I have to connect to a european server and can’t get a decent connection and playing constantly at 350ms isn’t fun and spikes regularly up to 4000

all I want is some improved connectivity in some way you can’t play at 400+ms.

that’s nothing try playing on 450 constant with 250 at lowest thanks to living in Australia/New Zealand and spikes up to 2000 and no way of fixing it.

Like I said it was all just a suggestion no need to get your jimmies rustled.

exactly but because of our small player base I don’t see them investing some form of change for people like us seeing as it would be too costly and not beneficial for ArenaNet guess we will just have to put it up with it some how.

kind of a shame really sea of sorrows is full even if they just tried to improve connectivity for people in Australia somehow atm I can’t even play I logged in and heaps of people are saying they have over 2000 ping.

Personally I think people in Australia/oceanic need to have a dedicated server to play on because the amounts of ping/latency we have compared to other players in some cases is a lot higher and makes the game really annoying and sometimes so delayed that it makes the game unplayable. I have a good internet connection but the fact that we have to bounce off european servers or american servers just to play is a little annoying and when you are constantly at 200-550 ping it does start to get really irretating. This is just a suggestion that I personally think would benefit oceanic players and would make the game more enjoyable. pls no h8.

yeh i have already updated everything including my system drivers and such so hopefully with a little luck it will be okay to play gw2

yeh sorry for posting in a mac forum but one final question is that with overclocking or without overclocking?

well i have been using it and it hasn’t been bad at all yet it has performed well in most of my games if not all.

I hope it will be decent enough play most of the settings on high? :/

ill try ahaha i probably wont do it though because i know ill kill my cpu ahaha so ill leave it as is I think but i hope it still performs okay

fare enough ill try and see how it goes it should turn out okay if it doesn’t overheat.

AMD FX 6100 six-core processor
HIS HD Radeon 7950 3gb
3.3ghz (maybe overclocking to 3.7ghz)
Windows 7 64-bit
8gb RAM
MSI motherboard

or is low all i will be able to play on when i clock it up to 3.7ghz with my HIS HD radeon 7950?

would i be able to run it on high settings if i clocked it up to 3.7ghz?

I have CPUID already but i dont want to overclck because i dont have watercooling or anything but i dont know if the extra .4ghz will make a difference but i hope it will but ill probably install some more fans before doing so.

And will doing this increase the performance in any way?

I most likely wont be doing to much WVW at all so will it be okay for like normal roaming around? and im putting it up to 3.7ghz dont know how much of a difference it will make but at the moment my pc CPU:25 degress Mainboard:35 degrees RPM:3883
