Yes, but all that does is show that what I am saying is matter of factly; doesn’t do anything else.
Anyway, here’s the screenshot.
(UPDATE: Hmm… it’s not showing the overlay with FPS… Anyway, it’s 57MB of ram being used, and only 9 FPS at this screenshot.)
Hi guys!
So, while everyone seems to be having an “issue” with the 64bit client using “too much” memory… I have the opposite problem.
I immediately noticed that everything was MUCH slower, even in booting up the game; nevermind the fact that the framerate had suddenly dropped to 8-14 FPS.
Turns out, my 64bit client is using only 57MB of RAM at most!
I went back to using the 32bit client, and it’s using upwards of 650MB, giving me a much smoother gameplay and FPS rate (obviously).
So the question is, how do I get the 64bit client to use more RAM…??

Thank you all for the info and advice… and the welcome!

Alright, then… I’ll update this thread once I hit lvl 15. If it unlocks, then yay!
I am a GW2 noob, I’m only lvl 7, and I’ve only just started playing.
Today, I was playing with a friend who’s level 36. While on Skype, he asked me how much World Completion I had.
“No idea, mate,” I said.
“Press ‘M’ to open your map. Look on the left-hand side, near the top,” he guided me.
“Uhmm… nope, nothing there,” I told him.
“You sure? That’s odd. Click on the ‘eye’ on the bottom left; are all the boxes ticked?”
“Yup, they are,” said I.
“And no ‘World Completion’ thing on the left of your map?” he insisted.
“Nope”
“Ok, try to go into ‘Options’, and ‘Restore to Default’ then.”
“Done. Didn’t work, nothing there, bro,” I reported back.
“That’s not right. There should be ‘World Completion’ on there.”
At this point, we exchanged screenshots on Skype, just to make sure we were both clear that were speaking about the same thing.
His map had the ‘World Completion’ count on the left, and mine didn’t.
Is there some sort of bug? Is it some sort of ‘overlay’ that need to toggle on / off or something?
What do you think is the issue?
Thanks!
