Hi all, I hope this is allowed. I looked for a “general” or off-topic forum area but there doesn’t seem to be one. However, this is the only gaming discussion forum I participate in and I could really use some advice/help . . .
My nephew is 15 1/2 and I want to get him a “cool” XBox game for Xmas. Problem is his very-Catholic and fairly over-protective mother (my sister in law), who tends to object to games that are too violent, etc.
Sis-in-law has finally decided that FPS-type games are okay for a 15.5 y.o. boy . . . as long as they do not involve killing humans. Zombies are fine. Other, non human toons/targets are apparently fine too (e.g. monsters, aliens, etc.). Just not people.
Okay, so I easily found great Zombie-type games like Left For Dead, but they are all rated M for Mature! She sees that and the game disc is gonna go flying out the window! Reason I’m writing here is that I really want to find a “cool” XBox game that is rated T (Teen) and does not involve killing humans, lol.
Any thoughts? I really could use some help here . . .
Thanks in advance:)
Thanks to all who have posted here! I’ve not yet leaped into PVP yet, I’m trying to take my time and really “own” my various skills first so that I don’t end up completely sucking. Reading exchanges like this is also an enormous help in prepping for PVP fun.
Just wondering … would a flame/rocket turret help mitigate the Player Pet problem? I guess I’m just wondering if player adds will focus on the turret while you go after the live player (as often happens in PVE), or are clones & pets in PVP “smarter” than that?
P. S. I can see where the OP was coming from, as I feel a little squishy as an Engineer; trying to figure out a combo “tanky” + good damage build, if such a beast exists …
