We were not on FR BL because you were the “weakest” server. The reason is quite simple. We had over 100 ppl on ts and we had to look for a server where most of them were able to join -> FR BL.
I think you guys got at least a ton of lootbags… i think we had more “green arrows” than ranger pets that evening
w/e it was an event – it was fun (for us) – we had over 100ppl on ts that laughed cryied and played together and yes this is a reason to be “proud” of (what a silly word here… it is just a game)
great job at VoTF and the guys from ranik – sorry i think you had no big guild groups running this evening so great job from you guys defending your objectives it is a hard job against such masses. I rly loved the fight between garrison / west tower this was one hell of a battlefield with all three parties involved.

We had guys patrolling there, swords on hills and 2s later in lords room , cleared entire keep with , like I said guys patrolling

You saw us (DP) when we tried to use a Portal below Vista. You came from NE Supplycamp and we wiped you. After this Fight you guys roamed hills with Crazy numbers and Killed our Mesmer. You Even Danced on bis corpse. So i guess we just won the First hide and seak.“crazy numbers” = our 20 guildies that were there , and there was NO mesmer left inside for sure, since we were “roaming with crazy numbers” we should have seen that don’t you think? We both talking about AM BL right?
Yeah and since the Mesmer was from my guild i can Tell you he was there.
Well counting numbers is always tough. I Thing there was at least 1 other guild Group as well.
Believe me or not you won’t See [DP] use an exploid (such as porting through closed doors) on purpose. And of this happens the Player will Jump Out of the Siege without fighting any1/thing. If you notice such an Action Screen it and send it to me. I can tell you that our Leader won’t Let this Happen.

Yeah it is not a very high level there, but it seems that it was enough for the groups norreka and lns faced right there. It seems that DP and LNS joined forces during the last fight but giving the fact that the Enemy had at least 3 ac it shouldn’t be an advantage in this specific Situation.
So in the end you lost against wanabees with no skill. So plz Tell me how good you are.
Or just calm Down, appreciate this guild Group and ne thankful for small scale Fights and no blobbing. It seems like you do not know what you Want.

Funny thing is: Yep we have massive zergs or “blobs”.
But we do also have Guildgroups. I think some1 in this thread mentioned FAME and LNS (too lazy to search for the post) working together on a BL and win the fight. So actually it looks like we do organize in smaller groups as well.
And yes, we do not run in guild groups 24/7. We decided not to do so because we want to integrate every wvw player.
I can tell you folks, that DP does have a Guild group running – but only about 1 time per weak. The reason is not that we are too lazy to organize/train stuff but rather the product of several reasons. Just to name the most important for my guild:
We want to support the open ts server and want to give every1 the chance to play WvW in an open and friendly way and ask some questions.
So we have some commanders leading Zergs on our public ts server – and we do not care about the size. Sometimes we lead about 20 and sometimes 60+. Every1 is welcome and as long as we have only 1 commander/ BL we will not split up because of a lack of commanders. And we won’t split up if it is not needed as well.
During reset night we were forced to split up during the night because of your small scale groups.
w/e… “blobbing” is something that you can only do, when you guys give us the opportunity to do so. If you rly play in small scale groups and if your skill is rly “higher” than ours you are free to split up and cap everything away from us and join your forces to fight our Zerg back.
I do not flame other servers if they have massive zergs and i do not understand ppl complaining about this.
“AM” is hated… well i don’t mind. This makes fights more interesting and as long as ppl don’t want to transfer to our server we won’t have long queues so pls hate us! I appreciate it.
btw: Yes we have a few WvW active guilds and yes we could run small scale groups with some effort. But just as some ppl already wrote: Most of us don’t want to be forced to play “build xy” because they play WvW for 1-2 times per week. And simple as it is we accept it. We do not have an orga like other servers and i do not want to get an orga. In the end i do not think that there will be something like AM splitting up 24/7.
In the end my personal opionion about wvw tactics and “blobbing” / splitting up:
You have to react to your opponent. And there are alot of ways to do so.
If you want to conquer t3 structures a really big zerg will be to your advantage. You can build more siege weapons and you can endure more dmg. → Splitting up would be kinda waste, if you do not have to defend anything.
If your oponent doesn’t have the numbers to split up / attack multiple targets you can do both tbh. Split up and conquer things or you just wipe them every time they cross your ways and conquer stuff.
The only thing where you benefit from splitting up is when you have to defend some structures and attack at the same time (or defend multiple structures).
W/e in the end you benefit from large groups – as long as you coordinate them somehow. If you cannot coordinate them good groups like RG will just wipe the floor with your 60 man. I commanded our server reset against RG and yeah they are pretty tough. And i remember a fight where RG lead their random zerg + their guild group into battle. In the end we won because of our numbers + tactics (yeah there are differences). RG changed BL in the end and wiped BB “blob” and after they wiped them AM came in and they wiped them as well.
Under the line “blobbing” is a tactic as valid as every other tactic as well. And you have the tools to counter it. (and tbh it is pretty easy) So just do it wiped the floor with AM and enjoy the sweet victory. (ah yeah…and have some fun during your gaming hours and when you posted the vids / pics )
Ok… dunno if this all makes sense did something while writing this… w/e just enjoy the game and maybe we all read some posts, like we did in our last matchup against AR / BB.

@caid: ok. Yeah we know that you can see “Bad Play” in this Video. But we do not care at all as Long as we have Fun. Nauda pictured it right “we are having a Party” we Talk utterly nonsense and sometimes do stupid actions on purpose. For an example. A fsp (i think FSV) guild retreated when we took their mid keep and jumped down on a cliffhang… We could have Killed them with AoE since it was Petty obvious that they Want to Kick us Down the Cliff as soon as we Jump Down. Well after 1 Guy screamed “After them!!!” Some of us jumped in their Safe dead (i still do not know how i survived )
So yeah you are absolutely right, about this Bad Play / failure thing but the Focus of Most of Abaddon Folks (when there is such an Event) is to have fun maybe to Drink some Beer and Play drunk. Sometimes gw is nothing but a Big Party
Next time better use subtitles Norreka, so the “pros” and “real WvW players” understand what you’re saying

Tbh: yes we do not care about blobbing.
This Video was an Event, called "Warrior a it’s best". Just like mentioned before we habe this large scale event with different classes. This serves a simple purpose: Fun. And we had alot of fun.
"Tactics" here means, that we will not use the Same tactics as we would use in small scale groups of 20/30 ppl. We do not have to use them in such a large and Tanky group. It means something different and basic stuff - like combofields. (Yes we have ppl, that do not know of combofields etc - it is the minority of the Players but we do care). So yeah ppl learn to know the skill of the Warrior and how to Play him - on a very basic Level.
Norreka is a good commander and i do not See him very often on bis Warrior. And just like him many more just logged on their warriors from other classes, without knowing the skills and/or builds (and this is -for me- the main reason for the lack of might).
Well Long Story short: we had Fun and played with "Blobbadon" (watch the First seconds of our vid and read what we wrote )
@fsp streamer: "kittening Germans ruined the game". Sorry for this i know how you must habe felt (since we played against BB - and they are worse when it comes to "blobbing") You guys did well while defending NE tower. I think we payed you back with lootbags, when we tried to Open the door by musclepower against 5+ AC.
