“precision is virtually useless for necromancer” Really? Are you just referring to condition spec or are you saying this as a blanket statement across all of our traits/spells/skills?

1. Don’t let yourself get stuck doing a hard heart. If it seems to be taking a long time or you can’t finish it. Just head to the next spot and swing back through later.
2. If your next zone is to high for you, Explorer and grab your Waypoints while gathering. You’d be surprised how much exp you get.
3. Always finish your dailies.
4. YouTube is your friend when it comes to Vistas.
5. Tailor and Jewelry

Maybe he was just goofing off and trying out something different. Or maybe he likes the axe just like i do and didn’t care if he was being 100% effective. It’s a game and the man was just trying to enjoy it.

Hes breaking out of the necro hype he created. Long live the Necro who uses DS wisely….

I use an Axe all the time in PVE. But I have to admit that it’s mostly because I think the Axe looks better on my character then the toothpick daggers. Yes I’m pretty vain when it comes to gear on my animated toon. (at least I don’t play a female)

I’ve found some success by putting the Crit Bleed on my axe. With the range attack 2 it really stacks up for me.

I really like using wells but am torn on what stat to stick with. I don’t see how a level 80 can 50-80 critical to hit and still manage 22K HP

Honestly I don’t think it would make sense for our class to have or use pistols. I think it would be cool to be able to summon a undead rogue or an undead pirate with duel pistols.

What are people using in WvW to maintain their speed? I won’t use Locas because it’s AOE just nabs mobs to easily. Signit is ok but it still seems like I’m 2-3 seconds behind the main group.

I thought % to crit was wasted after it reached 50%? I must of misunderstood.

First I want to say thank you for the time you’ve put into this. Its been a refreshing post for us Necro-Newbs who are here looking for new and exciting things to break the mold.

Question: what are the primary stats on your armour?
Question: are you using any particular exotic set?
Question: does the bulk of my melee damage come from the Power/Precision stats?

I have tried an Axe/Dagger with swap to Axe/Dagger but the cool downs sucked. (wishful thinking) Now I’m swapping to Axe/Horn in WVW for speed boost.

Question: Should that second swap be a dagger/horn?

What about Mortal?

Is there a good website that post images of the exotic sets? One that is actually current?

I’ve been 80 for awhile now and although I’ve been slowly playing a couple alts, I spend 80% of my time on my Necro. Why? Because its fun. I love dropping wells and exploding using my minion abilities.

Who would like to knock a moron his back with one mob and than charge two more in and have them explode in the face. although I look forward to future improvements I find the current class very playable.

I also changed up my dual dagger to a wield an Axe. I just think it feels better.

So a healing Necro for party support is just not Viable.
