Can we get an update on Dx11? Is it still on the table, or is this game forever using archaic DX9?

According to the latest Steam Survey, (December 2012) almost half (49.75%) of users are now using Dx11 supported operating systems and graphics cards! I am hoping for at least a DirectX 11 rendering path, which could potentially provide performance improvements.

Agree, loving the game even after 4 months of play. Best MMO since World of Warcraft IMO.

When Does DX11 + Nvidia Patch Come Out?

Waiting on a Dx11 patch as well. Hopefully we will get an update on it soon.
The game already looks great, at the very least we need Dx11 rendering to improve frame rates, similar to the option in World of Warcraft. A few other options would hurt as well; FXAA is so blurry lol.

A few improvements I would like to see with respect to the visuals, that would require little work (hopefully) to implement.
1) More anti-aliasing options – The world is beautiful and detailed but a lot of that detail is burred out because of FXAA.
2) An option for ambient occlusion – We know the engine can support it because you can currently force it in the Nvidia control panel, however their are issues with doing that and ATI users have no way to add AO.
3) Direct x11 rendering – This option could potentially improve frame rates for as many as 50% of users (according to the December 2012 Steam survey 49.75% of users have support for Dx11)
