Flow, I totally agree I just wish I wasnt kittening myself with P/P and D/D together, but at the end of the day that seems to be the exact thing I am doing AND going middle of the road too in stats.

As one follow up does anyone play D/D and P/P? Is there a good synergy with these 2 wep types together?

Like I said up top, I am not a runner and maybe I cant get over the old school dual wield style of play. I always lean towards my weps have to match. Prol a big mistake on my part.

Thanks Mad, I was hopeing that I could find a middle of the road spec, however in PvE atm I find myself being able to take a few hits but I am always wanting more damage.

I have a warr as well and it seems like I can make a mistake in pve or pvp and still be fine, On a thief if I make a mistake I may or may not live.

So if the above is true “middle of the road” is no good in this game. I will need to relook at what I am doing. : (

My question “How am I missing the boat” so to speak with the thief class in WvW.

My stats are:

1975 power
1703 precision
1528 toughness
1500 Vitality

If you need to know attack stats etc just let me know I can post those too.

My Weps of choice are P/P D/D. I guess I am more old school DAOC and I dont run well. Once I am in a fight I am “in the fight” may the best person win. etc etc

I wanted to make a good pve and a good pvp setup with out having to switch out all the time. I feel like I have done a good job of that, but am I just kittening myself?

I do not seem to get the big flashy numbers like the people on here and everytime I go into a fight I feel like I can win or the other guy can win. I feel pretty balanced, Even tho it seems like on these boards every post is telling me I am OP.

Hense why I asked the question what am I doing wrong? I like to range a bit with P/P and if they get close I go D/D. I am a roamer in WvW taking back points etc while the Zerg runs around. I have never been a big “follow the zerg” guy.

I run runes of divinity at the present time. Should I give up the blaanced stats accros the board? It is very hard for me fighting 2v1 becuase my burst isnt what your guys seems to be. If you guys need anymore info on how I am playing just let me know.
