im just gonna tell you that gs #3 is a big nono in terms of dps. Dont tell me you use it for stripping boons of your target couse on your vids you used it as part of your rotation.
@Ash, will have a look at this, I started a project for lvling a while back but lost it inthe blurr or projects I have around the mesmer builds.

@All, I keep get PM,s asking for the stats for the builds. I rather give recomendations on what to aim for rather than claim you need a sertan exact stats. I will list my Phantasm hybrid stats thu as I get so many questions about em.
My gear and current stats for Phantasm Hybrid Shatter Cat 2013-01-27
With food and oil:
Power 1990
Crit chance 50% (with preci stacking sigil I get around 60-62%)
Crit dmg 100%
Toughtness: 1249 (2168armour)
Heath: 15800~ (with server buff 16500-17k~)/Osicat
I use a very similar build (20/20/…/30), wearing all berserker except for 3 pieces i have 82% crit dmg, with food thats 92%. My issue is that i dont want to go full zerker to be able to achieve the 90% crit dmg mark (to be at the +100% crit dmg with food). Ive done the math and IF i go full zerker ill have 91% crit dmg, this will gimp my surv a LOT (was using full soldier set with orbs + full zerk jewely and felt that my dmg was rather meh but i have ok surv, this set up on the other hand grants 2,3k power and 17,5k hp but im not sure if that makes up the loss of precision and crit dmg)
with shaterred strenght in to the mix i think you could easily mantain a steady 10-12 stacks of might(and giving them to your party) without loosing your capability of delivering damage. The problem is that this would severly narrow your traits. 20 in dueling for deceptive evasion would be a must and also 30 in illusions for illusionary persona+elasticity(extra bounce! yey!). All of this from a pve stand point

I checked moments ago in the mist without any stats and there was an evident increase in damage. Not sure if the correct one but indeed an increase, so yes they do STACK
It honestly depends more on yer dodging skills and playstyle at that level. For example: I personally roll with ~2400 armour/18-20k hp, depending on loadout/buffs.
Meanwhile, my Guild leader is a Thief. Rolls with around my level of armour, but like 11-13k hp. Truth is, he typically outlives me. (Of course, my slow Mesmer self tends to get caught by enemies more often, but that’s not the entire reason).
I suggest 16k or so for health, a good 2k or so armour. This, plus careful fighting, should keep you decent. Some of our guys can pull it off with 14k hp/less armour, but that is definately glassy.
You really think only 2k armor is enough? My guardian rolls in 3.1k and I still get hit fairly hard from time to time. Mesmer is my second 80 after guardian so I’m not really sure how light armor classes work.
The thing is, as a mesmer you should or must avoid getting hit(we have a wide set of tools to acomplish that). Adding armor/vit as above staited is for players that are not so good at positioning/dodging. Thats why many ppl feel that adding defensive stats its a waste couse the return is little and you could do just fine without them.
Too the op, I use around 17k hp with 1,1k tough (more wvw oriented though)
yesterday i tested bomb kit as a single target dps alternative. It was a pleasent surprise. #1 critted for almost 4k damage (similar to what nades did be4). Also this could be an aoe alternative for control over large groups of mobs. The upside on this is that you can easily adjust your traits from nades to bombs (drop grenadier, drop shrapnel if used and get short fuse for extra cc or enhaced performance for some more damage which has awesome sinergy with might stacking builds and 2 runes of altruism).
All in all i think its a nice alternative worthy of trying
I have experienced the same issue while testing. Also the sigil that adds plain +5% crit chance DOES NOT work in a kit for me. Whenever I equip a kit i loose the 5%, Plain useless. Good way to waste money
EDIT: the sigil activates when in combat ONLY, i bet this happens with many other sigils

Short question, elixirs B gives 30 seconds of might, my build has 110% boon duration. Is the duration beyond 1 minute wasted?
Also, explosives perk +10% dmg to explosions applies to nades?
