Hi, my raid guild died a few weeks ago so I am looking for a new raid guild or group. I currently have 371 LI, experience and kills on all of the new raid bosses. I’d say my main is Druid (condi, zerker, magi), but I’ve also geared a PS Warrior (zerker, condi), Dragonhunter, bad Tempest (don’t like playing it too much but will play it if necessary), pleb Chrono (not ascended), Necromancer and of course condi Ranger. I’m always trying to improve on whatever I play and am open to constructive criticism.

I’m generally available for raids on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from around 8PM CET, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10PM CET.

If you’re interested don’t hesitate to send me a message in game: Townuri.9530

I actually have an aftermarket cooler with my current setup, though I’m not sure if it’ll suffice if I want to start overclocking a new CPU. It is an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2.

Also I’m in Europe so no Micro Centers where I live. :P

Thanks for your replies. I’d say my budget is around 500 euros.

I am still wondering though if only upgrading the CPU in my case will be worth it in terms of performance improvements. I find this very hard to judge. Also, I don’t know if upgrading my motherboard in addition to my CPU would be worth it in the long run since I doubt LGA 1150 will be supported beyond Broadwell, and Haswell doesn’t seem to be much of an improvement over Sandy Bridge for desktops.

I’m also not entirely sure why upgrading motherboard would require me to purchase a new operating system. Just to be completely clear: only the Z types motherboards are capable of overclocking CPUs?

Again, thanks in advance.

I’m possibly looking to upgrade my system depending on whether it’s worth it or not, and I’m having trouble assessing that. Currently my system is running with the following:

Intel Core i5-2300 @ 2.8GHz
Asus P8H67-M PRO
GeForce GTX 460
Corsair XMS3 4GB(2×2GB) DDR3 1333MHz CL9
XFX Core Edition Pro 450 Watt, 80+ Bronze

I built this PC a couple of years ago and it has served me well. However I am now looking to improve my performance in GW2 as I primarily play WvW. I am looking into upgrading my CPU to an i5-3770K, but I’m not sure if that’s worth it now that Haswell is out, which would require me to purchase a new motherboard as well.
My GPU is also fairly outdated and I’m thinking a bit more RAM can’t hurt either in this case.

Any advice? Thank you in advance.

fractal shield clips into my armor...

Seconded. I reported this bug in game also using the /bug interface, adding a screenshot to my message and generally describing my discontent with the clipping issues this shield seems to suffer from. It is highly unfortunate because I feel this is one of the greatest shield skins in the game and the major clipping issues are putting me off from getting it on my Norn Guardian, as I’m sure it does for many people – I never see anyone using it in-game!
Clipping issues appear when the shield is both wielded and sheathed, and on Norns and Humans in addition to the original poster’s Sylvari.

I would love for these issues to be resolved so I can look forward to using the skin.
