I had Dekeyz run numbers. Power is the best option overall. I had her check a bunch of different scenarios like 6 infusions, 14 infusions, buffed, unbuffed, etc. If you have precision ones like me it won’t be much of a difference (like 1 EP difference on the one calc she ran).

Thanks for the quick response Obal :-). I got 3 precision infusions before i realized Precision was being nerfed so glad to know i can keep them without hurting too much…I’ll replace them eventually i guess

Sorry if i missed this in one of your videos/in this guide….what would be the best infusion to use now for ascended rings/accessories. I remember pre-patch you had a lot of precise WvW infusions…Now that Ferocity is around, would a power infusion be better? or would it be better to just go for something else entirely like utility infusions (for those of us who don’t care too much about min/maxing)?

In my opinion, it’s still too early to claim that one is being shown predominantly over the other. The 3 major relationships pointed out being Logan and Jenna, Kasmeer and Majory, and Caithe and Faolin.

Both Logans relationship, and Caithe’s are just spoken of here and there, and do not have any major part of the current LS, they both had patches where their relationships were elaborated upon. We learned more about Caithe during the LS when Twilight Arbor Aetherpath was released, and during the Queens Jubilee we learned more about Logans relationship. They both were by no means the center of attention, and neither was developed much further…the relationship between the quagaans has been developed more through the story than either of theirs :-P

Majory and Kasmeer is the first relationship they have really built upon outside of the background lore. I really enjoyed seeing a relationship be developed through the Living Story, and getting to see some new aspects week to week. I consider them to be the only spotlight relationship so far, because with the other 2, you have to search for information about the two of them. With Kass and Jory, it is blatantly obvious that they are a couple, with scenes of them holding hands, flirting, and the big scene in this patch.

As far as pushing an agenda goes, I have to disagree with that. While I did find it odd that 2 out of the 3 relationships between major characters are homosexual, (unless you count Zoja, then its 2 and 2, but her lovers dead)…It does not seem that they are pushing one more then the other. If in season 2 of the LS, another same sex relationship between major characters emerges, I will have to agree with you…but I don’t think we can claim they are pushing 1 more than the other until we have more relationships to go off of. Although I do share your opinion in that I would love to see them develop a more traditional relationship between major characters (Logan and Jenna?) through the living story…and no…the quagaans don’t count…they’re just too cute already for their cute couple stuff to be any different than their usual attitudes XD.

In short, Until we have more relationships to go off of, so far its a pretty even trade off as far relationships between major characters go.

Have they always looked like this or were they just recently completed? I always remember them being worked on and just empty shells. hints towards this patch maybe? Right now every one of them is active on my screen, but others don’t see it. It’s pretty cool though.

How to kill new world bosses

in The Origins of Madness

Toxic Massacre.9870

After attempting the new bosses once each (so please note I am by no means an expert XD) I figured I’d share my experiences and speculation because everyone appears to be lost and running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Marionette
There are 5 different paths that lead to the marionette. Everyone needs to split up equally along those paths and kill the mobs before they reach the portal. This will prevent the death star charge bar from going up. After a while, you will be able to go through the portal and fight the marionette. Kill the mob on the platform you are on and then kill the controller on the other side of the platform. This will shoot a laser at the marionette dealing damage.
Each path will get their turn to go (south to north) (this is why it takes so long if you are on the northernmost path) and they go inside the open portal, spike down the champion on the platform, destroy all the controllers, then they get popped back out into the tower defense tunnel again.
Some things to help are the barriers you can build to make the champions path to the gate take longer, the arrow cart that spawns by the gate, and the 2 golems. If all goes well, once all 5 paths go and sever a chain you win! Your reward at the end is based off of how many chains were severed.

Giant wurm
Once again, there are 3 paths to split everyone between (One for each head). Do the 3 escort missions, and then the wurm will spawn.
Crimson wurm (Middle):
To kill the worm you need to run through the clouds of phytotoxins or something like that and it will give you a teardrop shaped colored marker (red yellow or blue) above your head. On the mini map, there will be a spot to run to for each color toxin. Run to it and continue doing this. Eat nutrients along the way to help prevent damage from his drool, and have a group of people killing the eggs and mobs that constantly spawn.

Once all 3 colors are full (theres no progress bar so its a little chaotic), the devices will shoot the wurm, which will fall to the ground making it vulnerable to attack. Spike it down as much as you can. It will get back up after a fairly short amount of time, and you have to start the process over again. In the 15 min window, my group only managed to get the wurm down twice and spike down less that 1/4 of its health…

Cobalt Wurm (Northwest): Fight off the adds while you ferry bombs to the base of the Wurm head (at a red arrow); after 20 (unconfirmed) bombs are placed in a short period of time, the slime coating of the wurm will be breached, allowing you to attack it. Repeat until defeated

Amber Wurm: Same as others…Kill eggs before they hatch to prevent being overrun by champs. Kill the wandering Risen Plauge carrier, once he explodes youll have a buff on you. 20 people with this buff need to run in front of the wurms head (there will be an arrow), the worm will eat you, them being vulnerable because of the poison. rinse and repeat

Please reply with your experiences so I can update this with them so we can figure out the best strategy. This is going to be a work in progress because of how new the events are, so share your experiences and maybe things will run a bit smoother =P.
