I’m on Jade Quarry, and we just had a bunch of people outraged at the fact that we tried to show up for Shatterer and we were thrown in Overflow, before Guesting was enabled this never happened. And we didn’t have the terrible server lag that made arena net put the overflow on the maps in the first place. High Pop servers were high before Guesting, servers like Jade Quarry are unbearably full with guesting. I think there should be a way of cutting off guests abilities to loot chest off of their home server.
I noticed that I was able to get right into Lion’s Arch without the overflow triggering. And on my server. Jade Quarry(US) that is completely unheard of any hour of the day/night. And we’ve been having major issues of ability lag on world events e.g. dragons. These are huge events and lag in general on Claw is normal but Shatterer and Taq it isn’t normal. Sometimes it takes an upward of 10 seconds to cast an ability and then sometimes it doesn’t cast at all. I know last night I got 2 silver medals because all I could do was auto attack Taq and kitten
Odds are the folks most affected by Hurricane Sandy have many more pressing things on their minds than the Halloween event. =)
Yeah I was busy working… at the hospital I work at, and today was the start of my weekend, sorry if I’m a little erked that I was forced to miss the event.
so happy I had a whole 2 hours to play with this event. Thanks a ton Anet. Oh wait, no. I was in the middle of actually doing something but you know having the first to finish the event means taking the event down 5 hours early.
Awesome how people who were effected by said Hurricane that just ripped through the north east cost just got !@#$ out of being able to finish this.
