I’ll start by saying this is not intended to be a complaining post about the Wintersday puzzle. I personally enjoy jumping puzzles in this game, but these puzzles where you have no choice but to hurry need to stop. I am a quadriplegic and I really have enjoyed every aspect of this game so far because it allows me to interact with people on a level playing field without the physical limitations I face every day. I’ve been able to figure out how to play dispite having no control of my hands/fingers and actually do quite well. I made a post about the clock tower puzzle for Halloween concerning this same problem. When I play, I have to pause and doule check to make sure my hands are in the correct position above the keys pretty often. This of course makes it literally impossible to do a puzzle where you have to constantly keep moving because I have to stop, look at my hands, and keep going. I’ve tried this puzzle tons of times, always failing because I have to look at my hands. I have made multiple tickets with no response or acknowledgement to my situation. I enjoy collecting achievemet points, and not being able to do this simply because I can’t feel in my hands is frankly ridiculous. I would like to see some response from Anet about my situation, because if there are going to be continually creating things like this that people like me can’t do based purely on the fact that there’s no feeling or control in my hands/fingers I’ll find something else to invest my time into.
