About Us
Legio Umbra has been founded on the Piken Square server by Vritz (me) and Brabal at launch day of Guild Wars 2. We are a social guild with focus on WvW. We currently have over 70 members, having a major WvW event every sunday evening, and casual WvW every day (i.e. when people are up for it).

To communicate we have a Mumble voice server and we are part of The Piken Square Alliance (TPSA , a guild alliance between WvW guilds on Piken Square).

To describe some of our WvW experiences lately: We once captured Ascension Bay and worked together to fortify it with siege weaponry and upgrade as much as possible, fending of enemy attackers and even a big zerg (by both defending ourselves and rallying other guilds for our cause). Another time we teamed up with other guilds in TPSA and silently assaulted the garrison with 2 siege golems, after which we killed the keep lord. Just recently we worked together with other guilds to take over the whole Dzagonur borderlands.

We do not have totalitarian leadership in Legio Umbra. Everyone that shows initiative and is able to lead groups in WvW, can eventually become an Officer or Leader (In fact we are in need of more officers, please do apply!). However, as an Officer or Leader you are required to be active (at least a couple of times a week), because we want to keep the leader population fresh.

Membership options
Full Member
Joining as a full member means you have the opportunity to gain ranks, and eventually become an officer or leader if desired. As a full member the only thing we require of you is to represent us at all times. However, we do not require you to attend every event we organize (no attendance requirement/level requirement).

Allied Member
Thanks to the multi-guild system you can be in multiple guilds at once (but you can only represent one at a time). So if you are already in a guild (e.g. a PvE guild), it is also possible to join our guild as an Allied Member, solely representing us when joining us in WvW, and free to represent whatever other guild at other times.

Guild Merge
If you are a leader of a small guild and are considering either joining another guild or merging with another guild, we have a special offer for you. If you decide to merge your guild with our guild (i.e. order all your members to join our guild and join yourself as well), we can offer you a Leader position in Legio Umbra. You have the same privileges as before in your old guild, and in addition you have a bigger player base.
