I’m assuming there is no update for this issue based on the lack of communication from Anet employees?

Appears the problem has now progressed to a cancerous stage with not being able to buy gems off your store in addition to most days of not enjoying the luxury of access to the TP. Don’t forget your gamma problem is still occurring if and when I feel the fancy to try my luck accessing said TP.

Support tickets have been made but the replies have been obtuse at best.

Get used to it. Happening since day 1 with no end in sight. 80% of the time I need to access the TP I have to exit GW2 and reload it. Now I cannot even buy gems off the store because the screen is perfectly blank. Support was very sympathetic but ultimately not much help.

After a month long break from GW2 I have come back over the past few days to find some interesting changes. Contrary to the main storyline which is utter rubbish (by that I mean my four year old nephew is writing better dialogue), I have found this living world story arc to be rather entertaining, an all around enjoyment to play and follow.

Unfortunately it seems a huge player base has been vacuumed out of Tyria, leaving me with little choice on group activities or perchance an encounter with another person as we wrangle down an offshoot. All in all its a very sad moment for GW2 as new consoles and games slip into stores dwindling the population of Tyria.

How does it feel Anet to develop new content for a game then delete that recently added content once the window of opportunity is complete and now no one can play anymore (thanks for the new “oops we deleted it cause your too slow” content by the way) or everyone else is of course playing your competitors games that have/will have added layers upon layers of EXISTING content?

I am also experiencing this issue but I have found that it happens while I am standing in Lion’s Arch bank hub. To fix the problem when it occurs I command-tab to desktop and then command-tab back to gw2. Gamma goes back to normal.

I have also deleted the cache files under Finder/Go/Library/caches/com.transgaming.guildwars2, which has stopped the problem for longer periods of time as the “command-tab” solution only seems to work for shorter periods.
