Just trying to let anet know that new pets still do not apply blind weakness or heal with the traits enabled. Tooltip sometimes show they will but upon testing with tiger nothing is applied
tiger says it will apply weakness but does not
They fixed the tooltip to give the new ranger pets wilting strikes but didn’t actually implement it…..
Should I have posted this to a different page or is it already known?
The weakness, blind, taunt, and heal on f2 skill dont seem to work with the new pet not sure if this is already a listed bug or not.
Its not good the traits wont proc with the new pets
Not sure if this is a bug or intended but the healing and blinding traits from beastmastery line do not seem to be working on the newly added pets if anyone has any info that would be extreamly helpful
Hi I’m sure this has been answered a thousand times but what exactly does it do besides provide a tiny bit of light in a very bright world…?
depends on your secondary trait. If your going to go power with pets then get all 30 but if your gunna go condi then you only really need 15-20
I just hope that they let us tame dragons soon!!!!!
Not going to lie, this build really turns me on!!! nice work! might switch the warhorn for the axe but other than that defiantly trying it on but I can hardly get entangle to stick on people but I’m thinking that’s because I still suck at this point must keep trying!!!
I think that it all depends on how the spectator mode works. While tourneys may feel alittle stale just watching them right now it is more like watching dota 2 as a lol player, you have an idea whats going on but no grasp on the finesse that you do with other games. When people start to see what is really happening I think that GW2 has a lot more excitement in a lot of ways. The real problem is that you are now fighting in three dimensions and that is a lot harder to capture on camera. In lol or starcraft you only have to worry about zooming on top of the action and you will catch everything. In GW2 you have to worry about terrain, angles, underwater, and scope of the shot and that does not even take into account the fact that there will be more action happening on the screen at once. In lol or starcraft most of the fights are centralized on one point while in GW2 everything is a lot more volatile and you can have upwards of 4 fights happening at once depending on the team comp. So not only will it be extremely challenging for the camera work but it looks like it will be just as hard for either casters or viewers to catch the important stuff. But the game is still young and people know these issues and if it can be taken care of in the right manner I think it will be just as fun if not more exciting than the major players out there today.
I’m sure this has already been thought of but what if guard had a second activate which made you trade places with your pet. You would probably have to get rid of the stealth on the pet but it would allow rangers to roam a lot more effectively in spvp and give them the option to be more aggressive and not have to build so tanky.
Hey ANET,
You guys are pretty awesome and Im sure you know that wwaaayyyy to much of your playerbase has no concept of how to handle change. You guys are doing some really cool stuff and should stick to your guns to see it through. This has been one of the most successful mmo launches in history but most people cannot grasp what it means to flush out a game. The dungeons should be hard on explorable mode but the problem is that the only people that post are the ones that get mad. You guys have huge vision and I hope that enough people stick with you to let you bring those amazing ideas to reality. It has only been less than a month and things are already starting to come together. Make it big and make it hard and make it awesome!
