Anyone know how this compares in damage output to the 22k dps build by Particular?
anyone had a chance to try this with trailblazers yet?

I’ve played the build a bit and I can see that its easy to keep up protection while in earth after overloading. I’m not sure how this works though, I can’t see any traits that give protection for 20 seconds… and it only happens in earth attunement…
Are there any good laurel trinkets that would be good for this build until I can get trailblazers?
Swift, in your DPS build you include Sand Squall, but without the warhorn. Does this still trigger without a warhorn? I’d read somewhere that it did, but I just tried it and it doesn’t look like it does.
I should add, Verdant Brink difficulty was pretty spot on. I don’t feel there was much to do other than events, and adventures. Adventures were good, but like the mini games, I doubt I’d play them too often.
I have been quite impressed with the beta, and liked some new skills and options for my ele. The new skills are fun to play with, not sure if they’re the most effective though.
I love the story instance, I hope there is a LOT more of it in release. Verdant brink was good and visually stunning. Events were fun, although bugged. However, I hope this isn’t all that’s in the expansion because I found maps like dry top and silverwastes got old pretty fast. Once I finish the event chains in those, I got over them because I’m not too concerned with the gear grind that they became.
It was good that they were living story releases… I would hope for some more dungeons… Some of the new skills would be really fun to try out in new dungeons.
Revenant was good, but not sure its my style of toon. I generally stick with 1 toon.
Stronghold seemed a little different this time round…. seemed like the doors got melted a lot faster than normal. I think there was the odd occasion where I would pick up supply and it didn’t count as well.
I look forward to progressing masteries and opening new areas. I feel like it could become a grind if the only way to get XP for them is doing world events.

3. Warhorn: 3 – love some skills, not sold on others.
4. Overloads: 3 – Love the concept, and the water/earth one are fun. But under powered. If they weren’t channeled, that might make up for the cooldown, etc.
5. Healing Skill: 2
6. Utilities: 3 – i like the idea of shouts, but they could be more useful
7. Elite Skill: 1 -if the game keeps going down the zerg path for open world content, then this isn’t all that useful. It could be great in a 5-man dungeon to better affect. But, we don’t know if there even are dungeons.
8. Animations & sound effects: 4
I’m also having this issue. You drop the explosives all around, but they don’t clear the debris.
I would like to have some form of replay option. Even if its just for the dungeon. I moved house during the last phase, and we’ve had trouble getting the internet connected so I missed the ending.

My account was hacked, and you managed to reset my password within 24 hours. I then asked about getting my account rolled back before the compromise because a lot of my items had been stolen.
Its now been 5-6 days since I was told this was being escalated. I did raise another ticket, because I thought I might need to to get the account rolled back.
Wasn’t sure if you guys closed down over Christmas or not. Understandable if you do, if not it would be nice to be able to play while I’m on my break though

I have had this issue twice now too.
1. I made it in, but I may have hit the side. Showed the Loading screen for the chest room, and then flipped to the LA loading screen.
2. 2nd time, I jumped in, but died mid air. instead of respawning at the loading zone, it ported me back to LA dead.
Oh, I was on an overflow for Yak’s Bend.
The event was nice and smooth while planting charges, but then it started lagging big time during the reinforcements for the ancient. What should have taken about 15 mins, still wasn’t done 30 mins later. My skills and chat were taking about 60 seconds to respond. Map chat and guild chat was filled with complaints about the same thing.
Its a pity, because if it weren’t for the lag I could have got it done before I had to leave for work. Now, because of my timezone and lag, looks like I miss the one time event.
I loved the event, but there may have been a little too much for the casual player (like me) to achieve in a single weekend.
I would have loved more time to play and conquer the clock tower.
Things to improve:
1. Remove the wait time on the clock tower – i’m sure you have a good reason for having it there.
2. Allow solo attempts at the clock tower – I can never see where I’m going because of all the other players doing it. I guess that’s kind of the fun part.
3. fix the halloween portals events – these were bugged on my server
4. provide better information on where to go and what to do for certain events. Hopefully the wiki will be more up to date next time.
apart from that it was great fun, especially costume brawling
