“Nearest enemy” option works best for melees but what about the ranged classes?
When I want to cycle to my next target for an interrupt or something else, I can’t do it with that option. I will have to use “next enemy” and “previous enemy” targeting options which also takes target to the enemy minions :/
Targeting in spvp is defective.
I mean, lets say that the enemy is a necro. He summons his minions and because of the minions I can’t target necro fast enough. I either need to spam tab until i find him or i need to left click on him which is another annoying thing because of all those minions.
What’s the solution?
Well, there should be an option (that does not concern mesmer’s clones of course) to disable the name plate of the enemy summons, pets and minions. So that we can see a clearer arena field.
Another idea is to add “arena target 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5” in the targeting options. If we have a very small list of enemy names and their numbers at the left corner of the screen we can know what button to use for targeting whoever we want to. Of course, this idea is a little bit questionable because some people may find it harder to use than the current system. But atleast consider applying my first idea into the game please!
The next part is just me throwing out an idea, don’t take it seriously. I am just brainstorming and imagining some things and I wanted to share it with you;
Also, there could be a cast time bar right under the name plate of the enemies when they cast something.
It is already very hard to use interrupts properly (except for revive or execute) that the interrupt skills such as thief’s headshot are nearly not used by anyone anymore.
Adding visible for the enemy cast bars into the game would make pvp a lot more exciting and also add more mechanics in the game like “fake casting”
If you think that this would make some classes op, then you could just add more cooldowns to the interrupt skills. For thief (since they don’t have a cooldown mechanic in their basic skills) you can just increase the initiative requirement.
And if that’s not enough, you can add the stability boon into some of the regular skills of casters.
The second part is just me brainstorming though, I know that it would be a very big change and it’s not easy to tell what would happen after that. I am just throwing out an opinion that’s all.
But the first part was a serious request from anet. I am tired of struggling with the unnecessary cloud of names between me and my actual target

I have the same issue also. Whenever I leave a party or they kick me or even when the other guy leaves (after the fractals) my game crashes.
