So does this mean that we cant go to a waypoint if we’re dead in a dungeon, as long as there’s someone in combat?
So do we have to kill Lupicus in Arah, for example, at the first try or the boss will reset?

You have to kill him or he will reset. This has basically always been true, but WP zerging has allowed for 1 or 2 skilled players to carry 3-4 less skilled. All the hate on for the no WP while party in combat doesn’t seem to realize you can still raise your ally. If someone falls, take the time to get them up.

If someone falls, you don’t always have the time to get them up. If I fully die, I want my team to just finish the objective, not die in the process of rezzing me, which is the most likely outcome. I’ve run AC more than anything else, and I realize now I actually have to build a team, not just randomly add the first players to tell me they need in a group. As another member stated, yes, some groups can push through these dungeons without a problem, and I have been on these, but I’ve also been on groups that can barely make it past the spider queen, much less the rest of the run. I am not apposed to fixing the wp zerg, but I think the concensus of this forum is that Anet should make the random teams just as capable of accomplishing the dungeons as before, either by nerfing certain parts of the dungeons, or by changing them all together. honestly, imo, adding wp zerging back in is the most effective way to fix this, at least for now. maybe change it back when all the patches are ready to go, and put them all in at the same time.
