Simple, I want a crosshair. I’m not asking for anything else to be changed, just a simple option to choose a mouse cursor or a crosshair.

Controllers! I loathe playing games with a KB&M. Full on Hate!
The problem is closed minded debs who don’t want to detour from their “vision”.
They say stupid things like, “if you want a controller buy a console” ….
Newsflash, I have a console! Guess what? I play that when I’m home most of the time!
Though right now, I’m at work as a night audit at a hotel. TONS of downtime. I want to get out my laptop & controller and enjoy an MMO.
Or perhaps I’m at the girls house, and want to enjoy a hour or 2 of game time before I fall asleep. Have you never played on a laptop with a controller while you sit up in bed?
What it falls down to is a bunch of PC elitist who think if your not at a tweaked desktop your doing it wrong!
These guys are so closed minded they won’t even allow you to change the pointer to a crosshair… I guess people playing the game the way THEY would most enjoy would hurt their feelings… lol so sensitive!

I 100% would love a WvW 1 on 1 platform!
I’d want a platform high above ground level! High enough if anyone fell off they would die or go back to waiting room and it counting as a loss!
A viewing area higher like as in keep walls going all around for viewing. looking in on the platform. with a endless pit/moat like going around platform.
The platform working like how you enter a keep, but only allowing 1 character from each server to enter at a time.
just like how you have to wait to enter a full map in wvw. you would go from watching the fight – someone getting defeated and next thing you know your on the platform.
1 fight and done. win or loose.
or stay till defeated…either way…this would be amazing!

I got everything working with a combination of: Deleting everything. downloading Travis’s file. once travis’s file was in the applications folder, I did what kylaa said with the terminal. It had to download some update, then was good to go.

I’m having this same issue! So i deleted the entire game and just downloaded it fresh. That sadly did not work.

I think the combat mod going around while flawed is a good for certain types of play. Area Net originally said “NO MODS” then they started allowing them.
While I have mixed feelings about this… the combat mod was to me an improvement… only for windows users…
= not fair
IMO all mods should be ported into the game by the developers and not allowed till then! NO 3rd party Mods! Zero! If its not official = cheating!
I thought this was the stance of the GW team! Seems they have gotten “soft”!
