Not anymore, read news. Every veteran will get +1 character slot, on the top of the one slot that is already offered for deluxe and ultimate versions.
So:
Standard: +1
Deluxe: +2
Ultimate: +2

So ‘everyone’ seems to be happy that we all get one extra character slot worth 800 gems and the fact we are still buying a copy of the core game which we already have for an overpriced expansion. WRONG.
A-net have already said that every expansion will also include a copy of the core game and any previous expansion prior to that.
This seems to be a like a Relaunch of Guild wars 2 to get new players. Are they doing it the right way? I don’t think so. I’ll just wait for the last expansion to be released, get my spare copy of the core game and all the previous expansions included.
