UHmm… actually if they worked how a company should work this whole mess wasn’t supposed to happen.

I meant how in the end they listened to their customers. I’d rather be put up with this kitten then having a company that just puts down an event and don’t care for possible negative consequences.

Had you logged in yesterday with no chest, or is this the first time you’re checking for it?

Just to satisfy my own curiosity

ETA: I still don’t have a chest, so I’m hoping they haven’t run the new and improved script yet!

I wanted to add a note: I don’t see how it is possible — given the coding for the distribution — that someone who did not log into the event at all would have received a chest in yesterday’s distribution. Maybe they forgot they logged in, but the way the distribution was configured persuades me that they did attend and that it why they received the chest.

Let’s be sure we don’t get into “I know a guy who…” discussions, but keep the topic ON topic and relevant to the discussion. If there is an issue, we’ll fix it!

Thank you for the response. As customer such rapid and open responses are needed to have a strong relationship between company and customer. I hope that will sort out and be fair in the end. I also hope that Anet learns from the problems that developed after the karka event. However, to end positively I think such weekends as the one with the karka’s were really awesome.

Guys,

We are looking into this matter. We initially believed that anyone who earned a chest surely would receive one, and that is why the email refers to clearing the mailbox. We believed yesterday that the list was complete and all earned chests were distributed. However, we have noted continued questions about the matter and we are not discounting that there may be an issue. The team will get to the bottom of it and I’ll update you when we know more.

Hello dear readers,

I want to raise awareness to Anet about players who have participated in its sunday event in which it was possible to obtain a chest that included a 20 slot bag and possible exotics/precursors. However, players who have participated, but disconnected, did not receive the compensation mail, this includes me. In the attachment is a screenshot of me participating in the event. I’ve also heard that others, who were online at that time but did not participate have received a chest and that players who already looted the chest have also obtained this mail. I hope Anet sorts this problem out, as it impacts the community, the game’s economy and Anet as a loyal and transparent company.
