This game is fine and all but one major problem encountered by a lot of players has to do with the story missions. These missions are fine up until certain points and then suddenly take a turn and become impossible to beat at the level posted for it. One shining example of a bad story mission is early on in the Vesura starting zone called “Stand By Your Krewe”.
This mission shows a recommended level of 8 and starts off simple. However once you reach the inside of the building, things become too hard for pretty much any level 8 player there. You are faced with a Turret that does over 100 damage and fires rapidly and a group of about 5 enemies who are easy to deal with in pairs but completely knock out your NPC help early on. If you die, NPCs don’t respawn with you and instead lay there uselessly in the middle of the giant group of enemies. After finding a way to get the code to rescue Pol (311) you are then ambushed by 3 level 8s and a level 10!
Now why the hell is there a level 10 in a story mission meant for a player of lower levels? You can barely damage the stupid thing and her fire ring kills your NPCs faster than they can hurt her. Hell even at level 10 this was an unnecessarily hard story mission. Why? Because I was leveled down. What kind of crap is this?
Please fix something. Buff the NPCs, show proper levels for your stupid story missions or make the NPCs RESPAWN upon death!
Yes I am complaining and I am waiting for the inevitable “But dis gaem is perfect” crap but you can leave those kind of comments out of this thread.
