• No Instant Repair Canisters, Bank Access Express, Trading Post Express, Merchant Express, Revive Orb. Please just use these.

Revive Orb

We don’t double-click Revive Orbs in our inventory anymore. We click the UI option to “Consume a Revive Orb” alongside the usual “Return to Waypoint” option.

Many many thanks for all your work on this project! (And yes, I have max shared inventory slots and am still desperate for more.)

Effect Icon Blinking

When an effect icon has 5 seconds remaining, it starts blinking. Some of the icons for effects will blink needlessly or incessantly. Can we please normalize them all so all icons remain non-blinking (while staying within range)?

Soothing Mist applies 10 seconds of effect, but is re-applied every 3 seconds. Staying in range will keep the icon solid indefinitely.

Warrior banners apply 6 seconds of effect and is re-applied every 3 seconds. After 1 second, the effect icon starts blinking for 2 seconds. Staying in range will keep the icon blinking indefinitely.

Virtue of Resolve applies 3 seconds of effect and is re-applied every 3 seconds. Staying in range will keep the icon blinking indefinitely.

Can we PLEASE normalize all the traits and skills that apply a recurring effect to apply 10 seconds? All this blinking is distracting.

Targeting: Auto, Ground, Self

Why can’t we individually toggle ALL ground-target skills between ground-target, auto-target, and self-target?

CTRL + MOUSE 2 toggles auto-attack. Perhaps ALT + MOUSE 2 could cycle between ground-, auto-, and self-target. The red crosshairs for ground-target could cycle between red, green, and blue for each of the three modes. This would not interfere with the General Options > Ground Targeting if a skill is ground-target.

The gears started turning as I was explaining the curious nature of Mesmer’s Feedback utility skill to a guildican. It’s an auto-target skill that acts like a ground-target skill.

Some examples:

Mesmer’s Feedback utility skill could be desired as a self-target defensive bubble, a strategic ground-target bubble, or the traditional offensive auto-target bubble.

Necromancer Well skills could be individually set to play style. Self-target Well of Blood (healing) and Well of Power (condi cleanse). Auto-target Well of Suffering and Well of Corruption.

Speaking of Necromancer, I would love the ability for staff mark skills to be an auto-target skill. One button press would plop the mark right at my target’s feet.

As a melee staff fire Elementalist, I cast Lava Font skill at my feet 99% of the time. The enemy is in my face and I want to damage them as well as might stack with Arcane Brilliance and Arcane Wave. I would love to self-target Lava Font at my position. I would also love Arcane Wave to self-target at my position, too.

Speaking of staff fire Elementalist, perhaps some players would like Flame Burst weapon skill to self-target. Perhaps other players would like for Flame Burst skill to be ground-target. I prefer the auto-target option that it is now.

Engineers with Grenade Kit utility would greatly benefit from this. Grenade Kit skill 1 could be auto-target. This would be highly desirable for PvE targets that don’t move around much, and not desirable for nimble PvP targets. Higher skilled PvP play would require a human brain to lead the ground-target cast to hit such mobile enemies.

Captain's Airship Level Adjustment

The Royal Terrace in Divinity’s Reach is unaffected by level adjustment since dynamic level adjustment is disabled in the cities . Can we have level adjustment disabled in the Captain’s Airship, as well? When crafting armor and weapons, we cannot currently see the final result it has on our skills, attributes, health, et cetera.
