Does it usually take 2 days to get a response to a “I seriously CANNOT play the game because of this issue” tickets? You’d think those would be top priority. Especially when there are in game sales.

I recently got a new phone and moved to the east coast from SoCal, after getting setup here I discovered that after downloading the Authenticator app to my new phone I can no longer access ANYTHING from my account, I can’t even login to change any of the security settings! The troubleshooting page says to login to security settings to remove an authenticator, but REQUIRES an authenticator to login. You can see the issue here.

For no reason that I can even begin to see, this just started happening.

I got home from work, loaded up GW2 and did all my daily chores on my main account. Then after I was done, I clicked logout in the Character Select screen to log over to my alt account. I then recieved a spam message from my Bitdefender 2016 saying that it has blocked the ‘threat’ GW2-64.exe. I WAS JUST PLAYING IT, why did it suddenly decide it was a threat? I haven’t done ANYTHING with my security settings.

I have tried flushing my DNS, I tried adding GW2 to the exceptions list in my firewall AND Bitdefender. Bitdefender simply WILL NOT let me play GW2.

And no, “Just disable your anti-virus” is not an acceptable reply. It’s worked fine up until now, why is it preventing me from playing?

This is hardly an ‘obscure bug’ since it happens to people on EVERY Dragon Stand map. But as you said, removing the ‘instance lock’ would be an easy work-around, but still not a fix. Going into a map expecting to crash or expecting others to crash is unacceptable, and needs a remedy sooner rather than later.

Never had a problem since the 64-Bit was released, don’t think it’s on Anets side,
run a -Diag and see where the bottleneck is located.

Like it was said earlier, this attitude is why ANET doesn’t put bugs like this on the top of their ‘to fix’ list.

Members of my guild, who also run also 64 bit, report crashing in DS, AB, and even places like Karka Queen. It’s a far reaching issue that effects players of different computer builds and speed, and it seriously saps the fun out of going into these zones. Dreading a D/C around every corner during events is NO way to play a game.

I just hope more people will report and post so ANET can stop ignoring the issue.

Yes, this is another Dragons Stand boss crash thread. ANET please pay attention.

So I took a chance tonight by going into Dragons Stand. Little under two hours pass, get to the boss death cutscene, cutscene ends, I start making my run to the big chest, aaaaaaand we all know what happens next.

Can we SERIOUSLY get a fix for this issue? This has been a major bug since October that has yet to have a solid FIX. And I’m not talking about:

“Oh, just lower your settings.” Why should I? Why should I have to lower the quality of the game to remedy this glaring issue?

“Just party up with someone, so you can get back in.” Oh yeah, that’s grand, forming a group EXPECTING to crash on a map, lets get a round of applause for the community on this one. Creating a new map culture to counter a lack of fix on ANETs part.

“You crashed after the boss died? Too bad you can’t get back in.” Seriously. Whos idea was this? No other map, to my knowledge, has a ‘lock out’ mechanic barring those who weren’t in or were forcibly ejected from the map from getting back in. This alone is the reason most dread the infamous Dragon Stand crash.

“Just use the 64 bit client, that’ll fix it.” I am. And I wish that were true. I really do.

Best part is, that’s not even the ONLY major bug this map has. You also have to pray that your map doesn’t randomly reset mid run. Whoops, add that to the list.

The fact that there are this many issues and that no REAL solutions have been offered, is unbelievable. And the silence on the subject drives home the idea that ANET either doesn’t care, or is unable to fix it.

I looked around briefly and didn’t see a direct answer, what will happen to the “Large Guild Discovery” item you recieve from BL Chests? In addition to the Scrolls you get from the personal story, the 400 & 1000 variants.

Will they become useless? Or will they serve another purpose?

If this was addressed elsewhere, I apologize for posting here.

Hey guys, after toying around with a bunch of Reaper builds, I found the Valk setup was the most enjoyable for my playstyle. So going forward, I started looking at sigils and runes for the build, Superior Sigil of Force is a given, but looking at Runes of the Eagle, I’m wondering how the damage formula works with a flat 5% increase and a 6% increase below 50%. Does it just become 11% or is it some janky-kitteny 10th level calculus nightmare?

Thanks in advance for anyone that knows.

PS: For bonus points, how would Superior Sigil of the Night function with these as well

What gets me is that since Reaper Shroud inherits the abilities tied to normal shroud skills, Reaper Shroud 1 will apply Burning, Vuln, AND stack Might, on AUTO ATTACK. That, to me, is insane in addition to the cleave it will be getting.

Personally I would go for “zero” precision build.

Weapons Staff( sigil of fire , energy )/GS (sigil of frailty, ice ) – Valkyrie stat

Armor – Valkyrie stat ( runes of strenght , hoelbrak , I went for ice )

Jewelry – Cavalier

Build has 2150 power , 27k hp , 2,7k armor, 4% crit ( thats not a problem ) aaaaand 215% crit damage.

We focus on applying chill , we get ( thanks to the trait ) stack of vulnerability on the target and thanks to other trait we get free crit chance on that target. Simple as that.

Utilities: Consume Conditions, Well of Corruption, Spectral Grasp, Spectral Armor, Elite skill – New Reaper Shout because it gives us temporary condition resistance.

It will be fairly weak to heavy condition builds. But thats why we got staff s4, thats why we got ConsumeConditions and an elite skill.

The vulnerability we can stack up is insane, basicly whatever we will do we will stack it by doing it.

Might will stack on its own thanks to Spite spec ( Reaper’s Might, Siphoned Power )

Thank a ton, this is actually something I’ll be keeping in mind.

TL;DR Soldiers, Dire, or hybrid? (Condi soft cap / Toughness cap)

I’m torn between a Soldiers build or a Dire build. In addition to this I have a few questions that I haven’t been able to find solid answers for…

What is the Condition ‘sweet spot’ (a good place to hit then stack another stat)
&
What is the Toughness/Armor ‘cap’?

Knowing that Corrupter’s Fervor will stack to 300 toughness, would I cap myself at 300 below the established cap? Or would I benefit from the extra 300?

And finally, how beneficial would it be to stack condi as a reaper over power? Since the only damaging condi we get is Chill(specced) & Poison. Would stacking power be better?

I know, so many questions, but I’m no good at theorycrafting and napkin math. Thank you in advanced for all the replys.
