I did get my chest today. Seafarer’s Rest (EU) I guess they just had to reroll the script a couple more times. For me its a good will of faith to the community. Lets just learn with past mistakes.

I like how one can come here to see what a sucess story this would be…. ‘’Its raining percursors?’’ more likely…. because that question mark is what separates knowing you’ve been screwd of not knowing anything at all.
I’m on the ‘’not knowing’’ part, because i want to know whats the script criteria, we all get patch notes, and Anet explains what is changed when something new is implemented, why is this script not explained? We know there’s a script that ran to check logs… and i think is crearly that its was a mistake because someone that allready got reward has got again another reward. Why isn’t this clear as blue sky?

Please… let me understaind this, because now i’m just an angry costumer.

So, 2.5 hours of my sleep down the drain…. A broken event, a disconnected client, no reward.
I will not send any complaint or a support ticket.
I will just remind myself to stay away from ‘’one time only’’ events.
Darn… i’ll just stay away from GW all together…….

All they need to do is copy the template of the consortium chest and load it with the same drop table as the event chest and mail it to everyone that didn’t already loot said chest. I’ll refrain from saying its “easy” but as an indie game developer, that sounds like something that should take a lot less time than has passed so far.

If the problem is that they don’t actually have a log of who has and hasn’t looted, the answer they’re looking for is to give it to everyone as opposed to not giving anyone anything. They are too stingy when it comes to giving players digital items that cost them nothing to give out.

That is in fact a very good solution, but you really need to count all other peple that had been for 2 and a half hours killing crabs, just to see their client crash and disconnect due to servers fulll capacity.

I for one don’t care about the items, i just care about what they are going to do with this subject. Because if it poorly handled, it will be very questinable about participating in future ‘’one time only’’ events.
