Oh sorry, I should have been more specific. I use it for the default action which shows label names on yellow items(material nodes, etc.) .

Note: this is not the same as checking the option in the menu as this only labels the monsters and creatures.

Yes, I think an optional checkbox for this specific action would be nice.

My suggestion is simple: make the ctrl key a toggle. I feel like I am holding the ctrl key down 99% of the game. I don’t see why it can’t be made a toggle.
